From our lovely Air Ambulance shop:
M&S summer short cardigan in 'nude' 55% linen, 45% viscose. Perfect for wearing with summer dresses.
Vanilla Sands (British Home Stores) navy & white strappy maxi dress. It is the tiered style but has a layer of navy lace between the tiers & I'm going to cut it off at the first tier below the lace which ends just on my knee to make a stylish day dress for my Greek holidays as I like to look nice when we go to restaurants for lunch.
No sewing required, just care with my dressmaking scissors.

Pollycat - my friend came round yesterday for my opinion on a top she'd bought. It was a pretty lined voile with straps and a frill that went round the top and across the shoulders (off the shoulder with straps IYKWIM)
It didn't look right on her so we pinned the frill to the straps and shortened the top by a couple of inches - made all the difference!!
In the past I've bought items because they were lovely fabric and could be remodeled or made into something else (now called upcycling lol) I've still got a beautiful indigo blue silk blouse that was originally a monsoon wrap dress!Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
From the Sense shop,a lovely lined cotton Monsoon sundress for £3.50, a cashmere v-neck top for £3 and from Cancer Research a lacy blue Indigo sweater for £3.50, the exact colour that is in the sundress2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

A few years ago I read in another part of the forum that it is possible to obtain free spare parts from Lego (within reason).
I don't know if this service is still available but the links I noted down at the time were:
http://www.lego.com/eng/service/replacementparts.asp
Tel: 00800 5346 5555 (Free via landline mobiles may charge)
9am - 5pm (GMT) Monday - Friday.
I have not tried it myself but it must be worth a go. Perhaps someone reading this has used the replacement service and can share their experience.
Thank you. I'll let my daughter know. Mind you, I'm not sure if there were bits missing or I'd already used the wrong bits in the wrong place previously! Never been a lot of Lego in our family before, my girls weren't into it. However, if you want a flat pack put together, I'm your woman!!0 -

There are 32 chazzer shops on my usual weekly route. This is in five different high streets. Sometimes less if I have to do something one day. If I could I would do them all weekly sometimes it is stretched to two weekly depending on how much is going on during normal life. Is this too much or Obsessive, what do you think? I don't buy at each one. I am very choosy but have kitted out the family and house.
If I could I'd like to be a charity shop manager, what do you think too?
