Just caught up with the thread - some smashing bargains being spotted. Did laugh at Marywoo's post. I remember my 2 sons ( about 7 & 8 at the time) watching TV while I was in the kitchen. I came in to find some woman, legs akimbo giving birth!!! I said ' do you really want to watch this? DS1 said - it's really interesting Mum so I left them to it thinking it would save me some explanations :)
No CS bargains for me lately but I've got some bits to go to the Hospice shop for someone else to find.

Went to my new favourite CS again today, and got 4 more dresses (Joanna Hope, De Keyser London, Debenhams black evening dress, maxi paisley dress), a Topshop denim Sailor jumpsuit/playsuit, all £1, and a vintage red bag for £1.50.

Jones is on of my favourite labels. Unfortunately, their sizing and quality control has gone to the dogs in the last couple of years.

They have been known to be the brand that fit mature women well. There are several labels under the brand, from lingerie to sport to signature, their luxe line. Beautiful things.

But the sizing is now so hit and miss.

    Enjoy it!

    More great bargains there.

Well, I appear to be Billy-no-bargains again. :(

Spent several hours in the city (different one to Friday's jaunt) and visited 9 charity shops but bought nothing at all.

I rejected a brand new pair of Uggs (child size 3 and I take a child 2), a brand new pair of Clarks toepost sandals (sze 3 and a bit too big), a BNWT pair of tropical print casual trousers (they would have creased like hell in 2 seconds), a M&S Portfolio purple jersey dress (only £1).

    I think I'm really shopped-up.
Maybe the only thing that will tempt me is a(nother) tropical print maxi dress. :rotfl:

That in itself is to be applauded. Half the fun is finding something that will enhance your life, at an amazing price.
