What is your charity shop bargain of the week?

A brand-new still with tag on Cath Kidston purse.
Like this but a different pattern.
Originally £28, I paid £8 from my local hospice shop, maybe not a tremendous bargain but either one of friends or my sister would love it for Christmas.
Having said that, I quite fancy it myself.... :rotfl:0 -
A few good things recently - a red and black Radley bag in great condition for £9, a box of Dartington Crystal tumblers (with the stickers still on them so totally unused) for £2.50 and the best of the lot - a brand new Antoni & Alison cashmere jumper for £1!0

Again I have been actively avoiding the Charity Shops, however I was waiting for my DD on Saturday and had some time to spare so popped into one and there was a very nice Ri2K bag in jade leather for £7.00. Most handbags in CSs are manmade materials these days so I was chuffed.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

I did a trawl of the local shops on Saturday to pick up some new winter work clothes. Managed to score two cotton jersey tops from Cancer Research for £1 apiece, and a spotted blouse, a kimono-style tunic and a M&S short flared skirt from BHF for £2.49 each.
The Marks skirt is Per Una and still has the original tags at £39.50:eek:0 -
Been a very lean time this last couple of weeks, the charity shops round here don't seem to be replacing stock as quickly as usual
Anyhoo, today I found a pair of MBT 'Walk' trainers, brand new for £8.50. They do take a bit of getting used to with the rocking sole...praps that's why they were donated? It was funny cos I was wearing the exact same shoes at the time....rather battered as I wear them loads so I was pleased to be able to replace them with a nice pristine pair. £8.50 seemed a lot in a way but I know they sell for anything between £79 to £200.0 -
Looked in some local chazzers for some more books, and came up with one entitled "The Spiritual Teachings of Marcus Aurelius". I shall let you know how I get on
There was also a book on how to be thrifty by India Knight, I flicked through it and it was full of listings so it seemed to me it was encouraging spending rather than natural thrift
A couple of new things that caught my eye were wooden advent calendars: £29.99 in PDSA and £16.99 in Cancer Research. I was tempted to get one to be handed down the generations now there is a child in our family!Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
"No man is worth, crawling on the earth"- adapted from Bob Crewe and Bob Gaudio
Hope is not a strategy...A child is for life, not just 18 years....Don't get me started on the NHS, because you won't win...I love chaz-ing!

I'm reading these posts with envy. I'm based in Wiltshire and My local charity shops sell tops for £4.50+. Things are so expensive and because of this I would much rather spend an extra £1-£2 to buy the item brand new.
Where are you based? I don't think I've ever been to a charity shop which sells tops for £1!!Saving for a house :T
Will question every purchase I make!

Wheeeeeeee....after a couple of bargain-less weeks things seem to be looking up :j
Today in the hospice chazza sale:-
On the £1 rail - BHS navy wool & cashmere knee length coat in excellent condition. A size smaller than I usually wear but it fits OK.
Black jersey Monsoon dress with fancy seaming on the bodice and a knee length skater skirt, as new. £2
This one:- http://uk.monsoon.co.uk/view/product/uk_catalog/mon_27,mon_27.1/5530970108
Cream silky top by Betty Jackson with a cream embroidered yoke and unusual turned back bits on the armholes. Long 'bottom covering' backand shorter at the front. £1.50
Can't believe it! A winter coat, a pawsh dress and a useful top all for £4.500 -
Great bargains, Miro. :T
I bought a Regatta waterproof/windproof packaway jacket, longer than the usual ones in a lovely shade of mint green with butterflies on for £2.
But guys - I need your help.
It's just slightly grubby on one bit of the collar. Label says to wash using Regatta special stuff or 'pure soap'.
What's that?
Found rhis thread:

which I have to admit has got me pretty scared of using soap flakes in my washing machine.
What do you reckon?
Yeoman's sell 'Tech wash' (300ml) for £4.75 and I do have a couple more waterproof ackets that could do with a freshen-up.
What would you do?
ETA: on offer £3.99 in Sports Direct (if they have it in my local one)0
