  • A long green wool coat, looks hardly worn, for £1!
It's a size or so too big but doesn't look too daft with jumpers layered underneath - can't wait to wear it in the next cold snap!

Loving this thread. I try to avoid buying clothes in the chazzer - on account of the fact that I have far too much stuff and have had to give stacks away! - but I love browsing for books, especially in the different London stores.

You can tell a lot about an area just from the quality of the books donated to the chazzer.

I find buying more stuff lately has actually helped me bite the bullet and get rid of other stuff I've been hanging on to for too long.

Stellata - if you're not using your large one I suggest you put it on Preloved. They fetch a good price & go like the proverbial hotcakes & Preloved don't make any charges for selling stuff.

Thank you for that, I didnt know about preloved but I have quite a few things "leftover" from my previous life which I could do with changing into cash IYSWIM. Ive done ebay but its so expensive.

Totally agree Stellata - there is also Freeads & Gumtree & neither of them charge to register or to sell. I know with Preloved you can leave items on there for as long as they take to sell too.
