A long green wool coat, looks hardly worn, for £1!
It's a size or so too big but doesn't look too daft with jumpers layered underneath - can't wait to wear it in the next cold snap!0 -
An original oil painting of sailing ships signed by H.L.Kirby (never heard of him) 1980 for £3Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot. :think:0

Loving this thread. I try to avoid buying clothes in the chazzer - on account of the fact that I have far too much stuff and have had to give stacks away! - but I love browsing for books, especially in the different London stores.
You can tell a lot about an area just from the quality of the books donated to the chazzer.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Hope is not a strategy...A child is for life, not just 18 years....Don't get me started on the NHS, because you won't win...I love chaz-ing!

Ive had a large remoska for some years now but now its only me, it doesnt get used much. I looked at the smaller ones on ebay but they were £££££.
Then today I found a little tiny one person one ina chazzer for £4!!!! It works perfectly too.Magnolia Stellata0 -

Stellata - if you're not using your large one I suggest you put it on Preloved. They fetch a good price & go like the proverbial hotcakes & Preloved don't make any charges for selling stuff.Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
Thank you for that, I didnt know about preloved but I have quite a few things "leftover" from my previous life which I could do with changing into cash IYSWIM. Ive done ebay but its so expensive.Magnolia Stellata0

Totally agree Stellata - there is also Freeads & Gumtree & neither of them charge to register or to sell. I know with Preloved you can leave items on there for as long as they take to sell too.Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0
