Last week I got a few more things :)

A dress from Motel. It has a tight black skirt part and then the top is looser with a black and turquoisey flower pattern. £3.99

A dress from Topshop. Just block bright red with 3/4 length sleeves, the top part is tight and then it flares out a bit at the waist. £4.99

Blouse from Topshop. Burgundy colour, slightly transparent with small shoulder pads. Very low cut but will look nice over the top of a black vest :) £2.49.

Mustard yellow (my favourite colour for autumn clothes!) jumper from Next. £3.99

Black cropped leggings (for the gym) from Craft (I'd never heard of them but it seems like a decent brand judging by the website). £2.

Top from M&S. Nice teal sort of colour, 3/4 length sleeves, button detail on the shoulders & a lovely soft fabric. £2.50.
  • Today I bought a J Jeans padded jacket for dd2 £5.
I bought my two boys coats from m&s and debs at the weekend but couldn't stretch to a third for dd. The charity shop one is a lot better quality and washed up like a dream.
Thick, fluffy lined m&s cardi for ds1 £3.
    Sponge bob t shirt £1.
H&M kids military style coat £4.

I've washed them already - about the only time I get excited about doing washing is when I rush to wash my CS hauls, lol.
I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:

Today from the same Charity shop in my village i got a Next knitted dress for £1.

    Me too!

Yesterday I picked up a new-to-me hat. Quite nice woolly brimmed black and white one for a pound. It says it isn't washable but I'll give it a go. The brand is Daniele Meucci, never heard of them!

I was in the BHF today and was shocked to see a pair of studded ballet pumps from Shoe Zone for £6! I don't think they cost as much as that new!
However I went to Sense which I have had some good bargains from in the past and they didn't disappoint. A beautiful white Fat Face hoodie- size 18 so a little big but lovely and cosy and with an appliqu!d slogan on the back for £3.75. Also just what I was looking for for my trip away at the weekend- a Bon Marche raincoat in black with green trim (perfect colour as well) also £3.75. It's quite heavy as well which was perfect- and to think I was just about to pay £8 for a thin showerproof rainmac somewhere else!! The strings from the waist are missing but I'm not bothered about that. Pleased with my bargainous haul! :)

I went to Chester today (there's LOADS of charity shops, if anyone is looking for somewhere new to try), but they were all full of old(ish) dears desperate for a bargain (bit like me I suppose :rotfl:), so anything decent had already gone.

Was shocked to see in Oxfam a box of those small cardboard drip mats that are on the tables in pubs, with a sign saying "25p each" . They have got to be joking. You can get proper cork-backed coasters for less.
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

  • Back to my fave cs today and came home with 2 'white stuff' lined dresses for £2.50 each. Then to visit another that I rarely go to , as it's not on my usual route, and a lovely , lined, 'jigsaw' dress for the same price. So set up for dresses,[ or frocks! ] now. Just need to sort something out to return to the cs!

In St Albans today and grabbed two bargains.

One was a beautiful, as new, black beaded evening dress for £15. Jacques Vert.

I also bought a lovely blue enamel mussels pot, unused, by Garden Trading for £5. It is still selling online for £35 so I was very happy as I love mussels.
