Lovely cream pleated lightshade to match my little standard lamp I bought a few weeks ago also from the cs. Took a while to find a suitable match that fitted properly because the fitting was quite small. ( have saved lots of light bulbs over the years!)

I popped in this morning and among other things picked up a black wool-blend Joseph blazer for £5. Fits perfectly, and must be practically new. Its equivalent new is £395! I think I am still a little bit in shock…

Fab find humblepii - well done :T. I hope this will be the first of many treasures for you. I must warn you browsing in charity shops can be quite addictive - I can't keep out of my local charity shops now!

I have been searching without success over the last few months which has been a bit disheartening. However, I treated myself to a few hours off the otehr day and went somewhere different for a browse.

Came back with quite a few goodies and everything I found was half price and looked like new- a lovely White Stuff tunic top (£3.50), a Mantaray t-shirt (£2), a pair of River Island jeans which are too short but I will roll up for the summer (£2) and a cute small leather bag which is perfect for my phone and keys when I walk to school (£1). Worth waiting for :j

Have loved reading about everyone's finds and it is always fun to see photos - unfortunately that is a bit too technical for me!

Today I found in our local Hospice shop a lovely hot tomato scarf for £1.50 I'm not really a scarf person but the colours are beautiful.

Not heard of the make before. Not long worn as I can still smell perfume :)
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)
  • Hi Shereen - I'll be there next time I'm in Belfast!

I've been getting the Autumn wardrobe together the CS way - long sleeved tees (BNWT Principles Petite, Lakeland and Betty Barclay for £2 each and a Gerry Weber for £4) and cashmere Vnecks (grey F&F and a pinkish Cashmere Company - this a man's which had shrunk a bit in the wash and hence was in the CS, but is now super-thick and snuggly and fits me!) - both £2!

I am becoming a charity shop convert...

I went to the Barndos one near me the other, thought I would have a look and was chuffed to find 2 cardis for DD3, both as good as new, one Next and one M&S Special eddition (or something) and a pair of Disney shop Minnie Mouse sparkly red shoes that were brand new! All for under £7!

I was so impressed I gave them a £10 and told them to keep the change as it is a good cause. I am definitely going to be checking them out from now on, I love a bargain!:T:D
    Raven. :grinheart:grinheart:grinheart
