Ladies skirts and trousers have been 4 for 1.99 for ages now but I didn't see anything else either for myself or DDs.

I understand completely.:)
I want to buy some expensive jeans but it won't bother me that many of the tops and jumpers that go with them will probably be from CS.0 -
 you're going to give an expensive copper-bottomed pan to a fresher moving into halls?!
As someone who guarded my non-stick wok with my life in self-catered halls, let me advise you that it probably won't survive until Xmas! I can pretty much guarantee that, even if he is super careful, someone he lives with will burn it, scratch it and generally destroy it before he's barely had the chance to make use of it.
Buy him a cheap frying pan and save the fancy one for when he gets his first property. Trust me, if he is good at cooking he will thank you!
My DD has decided to swap her slightly battered one for the CS on and will let ben have her one instead. She is very pleased at my find ,especially at the price of it.I must admit I was a bit suprised at the time ,but the lady said that often folk won't buy pots and pans as they have been used by other folk to cook in.pretty daft I thought, but them I'm not bothered who used it before as long as its clean and servicable.I had a friend once who would not use the library as people had used the books before ,doh! thats why its a library and not a book sho:):)She would rather spend a fortune on new books than borrow one from the local library I like a new book and normally get mine as Christmas pressies, the rest come from CS or second-hand book shops, or at a pinch downloaded onto my kindle

*wipes brow* phew!sorry I have a weird thing about saving decent pans from being wrecked, too many bad experiences as a student lol! I was the one marching into the kitchen swapping some guy's metal fork for a plastic spoon when they were about to destroy a non-stick pan lol! My bf still gets whacked with a wooden spoon if he tries to go anywhere near my wok with metal.
I don't get people who are fussy about that sort of thing. Some of the best summers I had as a teen were spending days in the library reading novels - yeah, I'm a bit of an introvert(Should probably clarify I did have friends at school lol they just lived and hour and a half across town from me!)

Going on my honeymoon next week and have a load of cheap but nice bikinis and fancy flip-flops I bought on ebay but my summer dresses are looking very tatty so spent the entire day yesterday trawling round every charity shop in my nearest two towns, trying things on.
Managed to get 7 beautiful maxi dresses, two lovely beach cover-ups and a lightweight denim gypsy skirt - all for the grand total of £45.37p
All the items look brand new - some I can't believe they've ever been worn, fit and suited/flattered me perfectly and all from 'good' retailers - Per Una, Wallis, Monsoon etc.
While I was there I also picked up a vintage fifties serving dish in the classic pastel blue colour with a typical mid-century-modern abstract design on the lid, in perfect condition for £1, and a great Art Deco style 50s Metamec clock for £2.50 - getting very hard to find good vintage stuff in charity shops at all now, let alone at a reasonable price, so couldn't resistDon’t try to keep up with the Jones’s. They are broke!0 -
