What is your charity shop bargain of the week?

For £9.50 I got an Erica James novel, Next jumper, French Connection fair isle waistcoat plus an Autograph cashmere jumper that someone had shrunk but still looks good (plan is to use as a warm layer).
This is in the Cancer Research shop but in a 'poorer' part of the city. Prices were definitely lower and I suspect the items had been 'shipped in'. Does anyone know if they use a sort of targeted pricing policy?0 -
I recently treated myself to a Andrew James food mixer but I use the same mixer blade all the time. I was thinking that I would probably have to buy a replacement over time. I went into a local charity shop and saw a similar blade on the shelf that I thought would possibly be the right size. I took it to the counter and the 3 staff there had no idea what it was and the manager said 'I don't know what that is luv you can have it.' I put 50p in the donation box and took it home and it was exactly the one I needed. Soooo happy.0

I have found that some times the assistants have no idea of what to charge. Sometimes they charge more than an item would cost in a shop brand new, other times they charge low prices for expensive stuff. I have noticed Pyrosil/Pyrflam( usable in the oven, on the hob, in the microwave and freezer) items being sold as if it were just plain Pyrex when it's quite expensive.0

Had a massive spree yesterday as part of my birthday present from my mum
I got:
Limited Collection Marks & Spencer black & white long cardigan, £10.99 (more than I'd usually pay but I absolutely fell in love with it, and it's so unusual that I knew I'd regret not buying it). Retail probably around £40-50.
Topshop high waisted light denim shorts, £3.50 (just what I've been looking for all summer!). Retail around £30.
Primark grey short sleeved cardigan, £3. Retail around £10.
Marks & Spencer slim black trousers (for work), £6.99. Retail around £20-30.
Topshop black trousers (also for work), £4.50. Retail around £30-40.
New Look black blouse, £4. Retail around £20.
Topshop knitted style skit with a zip the length of the back, £5. Retail around £30-40.
Yumi coral coloured toggle coat with bow details, £15 (most expensive thing I've ever bought from a charity shop but I'm absolutely in love with it, it's perfect!). Retail around £85-£100.
H&M black shirt style dress covered with animal pictures£5.50. Retail around £20.
Next burgundy-red jumper, £5.95. Retail around £30?
Banana republic fitted grey jumper (for work), £4.99. Retail around £50.
Toast sparkly grey fitted jumper, £5.99. Retail around £100
Marks & Spencer black shiny shoe boots with a little heel (for work), £7.99. As new, still with the sticker on the bottom. Retail £25.
Silver heart necklace, £1.49.
A lot of it was more expensive than I'd usually pay, but since it was for a treat (and my first clothes shop for 3 months) I bought pretty much everything I liked as it was still all a bargain compared to retail prices. Bargain wise, the prize has to go to the Toast jumper I think!
I may update with pictures at some point0 -

When i moved into my house - i had to borrow a couple of vases from my mum as i got a couple of bunches of flowers and had nothing to put them in except the kitchen sink. my mum picked up several vases for me as she saw them in charity shops. she found one that was stuart crystal for £1 (only a small one) and snapped it up, she told them it was worth more, but they could not changed the price so she put £10 in the charity box, still a bargain. but charity shops dont always know the value of what they have - sometimes a complete bargain, other times a worn out primark t-shirt for more than the new price.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0 -

Not a very profitable cs shop for me yesterday but I did manage to get an Olsen cotton jacket (navy and white) for £4.75 in AgeUK. In very good condition so pleased with that.

Got a pair of brand new, with tags, jeans by Celtic & Co. I know that is an expensive shop so was pleased to pay only £5 for jeans that I needed anyway.
Also picked up a (like new if not actually as no tags but no sign of having been worn) Laura Ashley 100% silk, black sequined top and a Per Una cardigan with revere collar which I can't decide if it has been worn or not. All together, I spent £17 so I am happy.0 -

Blue Cross - per una jeans - £4
Age concern (Tything, rarely go down that end) -
Floor mat to cover carpet worn through to metal in my car! - 50p
Fat Face trainers - £5
Worcester warriors scarf - £2.0
