Almost a charity find....
My mum is packing and sorting because she is moving soon.
When I visited last weekend, I found this little lot on the side...
I asked her if she wanted me to pack them but she said they were for the charity shop!
Needless to say they didn't make it there!
Annoyingly I had bought an enamel pie dish and plate just 2 days earlier!
Really pleased with my freebies.Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

Boden Jacket - £25, Boden Trousers £10 - doesn't sound THAT cheap, but both with labels still on - donated directly from the company - trousers had unfinished leg bottom, so I could finish them to fit me perfectly. Found a Hugo Boss shirt for £10 too, so I'm all set for my best friend's wedding and I gave every penny I has to spend to charity. :-D -BIG smile.0

Happy to do so, but don't know how to put a jpg directly into a post, though I know it's possible, as I've seen it done on these forums before.
You should be able to see the pic, though, if you click on the link.0 -
I'm so excited!
I've not bought a thing for ages (but I do have bulging wardrobes so I am a little selective about what I buy nowadays).
Bargains yesterday:
a fab unworn Per Una dress, lovely jersey fabric, fuchsia pink sleeveless, very flattering and dressy £5.00
Wallis sleeveless tunic dress, black with blue/turquoise flowers & same colour vertical stripes (sounds hideous but it's slimming) £4.00
Similar to this but more subtle:
Next 100% cotton top, cap sleeves in very vivid colours £2
Will look great with white linen trousers or denim crops.0 -

How people can get rid of expensive useful things like bakeware, kitchen supplies etc. makes me go  I'm a bit of a hoarder though
Re snobbery, I never understand why people don't like the idea of second hand. Yet a lot of these people will buy expensive vintage - what's the difference?! Chances are an M&S skirt has been washed more than a 50 year old Chanel suit!“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A. It only cost £3 from a charity shop!" when complimented on an outfit, and would instead smile demurely and exude an air of casually effortless monied style. Well into my 30s and still can't shut up about an amazing bargain.....
...a woman at work pulled all sorts of faces at the thought of wearing clothes from a charity shop (after admiring a skirt purchased from such an establishment). More people like her turning up their noses means more bargains for the rest of us!
I wonder if CSs will become socially acceptable like Aldi and Lidl? I think people are so fed up with being ripped off they're voting with their feet. Browsing the CSs gives a 'retail therapy buzz without the expense.0 -

In a way I hope not. There are already enough CS charging over the odds for poor quality tat because they can label it 'vintage'“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A.
