Hi All,
Not been doing any CS shopping lately (or any type of shopping come to think of it!) as DS had a major birthday last week & had extra expense so no shopping for about 3 weeks (still went & looked but was very, very good & didn't buy a thing!).
So am feeling very pleased with my purchases from the local Hospital League of Friends CS today. Karrimor walking trousers, fit like a dream £2:j I really did need some of these as my previous pair went in the rag bag a few weeks ago as they were totally beyond repair & literally hanging in shreds! I do a lot of walking & find jeans really uncomfortable & soak up the rain like a sponge.
However, I didn't neeeeed the interesting looking pretty little pink box with an electric cable & plug coming out of it which was sat on the counter when I went to make my purchase... Until I asked what was in it (I'm NOT nosey, just curious :rotfl:). Lo & behold, would you believe it, a set of heated rollers! I have been coveting some of these since before Christmas but wasn't prepared to pay high prices when I did a bit of research. Couldn't believe it! Mine for £3. Given them a slosh in warm soapy water & have them in right now! Boots own brand, complete with pins in matching wallet!
Well done everyone else on your fantastic finds of late & thanks for sharing & posting. I have been reading regularly but not posting as nothing to report. Until now

I went again yesterday and got some more books for baby, I'm sure they are brand new. Wasn't too much else in there really.0

Had another little visit to few CS yesterday as strap broke on handbag, is not repairable & has definitely seen better days.
Found a lovely, much smarter brown leather replacement for £3, the make is ?Derrici?. I've never heard of it, I'm not a label freak but lady in shop said it was a "nice make".
Also found another lovely lacy Damart thermal vest but wasn't so lucky as the last one I found for £1, paid a whopping £1.95! I think it's worth it to stay nice & warm & it's a very pretty pale purple marl colour.
Very happy with those. Well done to everyone else. Hope you all enjoy your bargains.
