  • But you said in post 215 that you looked after him all weekend.

Apologies, slight error I dont look after him ALL of saturday and sunday from 7am, I start on Saturday at 10am.

  • I get DLA because it enables me to live independently with a chronic condition

And just how would your life be different in terms of independance if you did not get DLA ...you drive ..your work ..you go to uni ...you go on nights out...etc etc - DLA does not enable you to live independanty because of a chronic illnes - it just gives you more money. Id you really needed someone with you ALL the time then you would know whta not being independant is.
I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)

I would spend more time with my son, however I have to work and go to uni to support us. All the disability money put together only covers my mortgage and travel costs. My wage is the main income.

Dont forget of my monthly income, most is from my WORKING WAGES because I have a good salary because I have a good job and have worked hard is not a crime. If you have less than me and you both work full time all I can say is you should have studied harder at school :T

MONEY actually is not everything, although you believe it is the be all and the end all.

Personally i would rather be skint all the time and watch my child grow up

  • Are your (wind up) posts really a forerunner to the most imaginative (and heartbreaking) work of fiction ever?

I presume you are planning to do something with that English Lit degree of yours.

you openly admit you wouldnt do so as it would give you migraines ,bore you senseless etc

so which is it ??? you WANT to spend more time with him but cant as you need to work ( which isnt a crime)

    OR

DONT want to spend time with him and actually spend as little as possible with him as you dont like being a mum

it wouldnt be so bad if the [STRIKE]lies[/STRIKE] reasons on this thread were consistant
