missk_ensington wrote:sleepymy- those occasional blackouts could be the one and only time my son runs out the front door onto the main road and is killed. It only takes one occassion of my being unconscious for him to cause major injury.
Lets hope then that it is not when the au pair"is not on call" or can go out or is engrossed in the internet or playstation in her room then (even though your initial post was that she NEVER did this) Your son is 3 years old - he could wake up at any time and get injured unsupervised. You say you would get the DLA without him - I bet your DLA form was filled with ifs and buts about your worries for your child. Having had 2 children who have seen me lose consciousness as a matter of course - children soon learn (if you teach and explain to them) what they need to do in an emergency...even if you teach them to hold your hand and not let it go until you wake up.I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes0 -
missk_ensington wrote:sleepymy - my son has nothing to do with the DLA as far I'm aware, my son is part of the Direct Payments.

Is it not illegal to receive DLA when getting a grant award? I remember friends loosing theirs when they started uni.The stupid things you do, you regret... if you have any sense, and if you don't regret them, maybe you're stupid. - Katharine Hepburn0

Yeah, I used it on having my kitchen fitted and tiled and developed ready for selling so that I can make another £30,000 :rotfl:
And last years, I have upfront. Literally. :rotfl:0 -
sleepmy - DLA is not means tested in any way shape or form. Tony Blair could be getting it quite legitimately for all we know0

How is it 24 hour care, or on hand if you are at work or 70 miles away at Uni??!!:A MSE's turbo-charged CurlyWurlyGirly:AThinks Naughty Things Too Much Clique Member No 3, 4 & 5

you seem to be getting a little kick ( due to lack of s£x since your au pair moved in) by coming on to a money saving website and bragging about all the money you are able to obtain falsely. oh geeeHit the snitch button!member #1 of the official warning clique.

I'm quitting this conversation if you;re just going to get so pedantic that its ludicrous. DS probably wakes up in the night twice a year, I prob blackout 2-3 times a month for 5-20 minutes. I'd have to be VERY unlucky to collapse in the night when DS gets up.
How exactly could I put stuff about DS's needs on my DLA form, 3 years prior to conception?0
