I am so lucky sheils that my mum is being a massive help on that front. we booked the wedding when i was on full time hours but now i am on part time it is more of a struggle but we are getting there. Will all be paid by end of the month pretty much thankfully

I won £1,000 on the Premium Bonds a few weeks before my wedding which was wonderful and meant we could do more on our honeymoon which was mainly travelling around California and neighbouring states. We had been saving like mad before that, even stopping buying newspapers etc.

Major panic in our house this afternoon, around 3.15ish the tv signal went and so did the net, fault in the area and didn't come back on till just gone 7 was gutted missing out on pepsi.

So was a few boring hours in this house and too quiet lol

I know it's sad sheils when the horses die, I agree...something should be done about it. It's like the horse 'synchronised' sensed what was going to happen with him running before the race. Hubby won £52 but lost his betting slip! He found it 2 hours later!

Finished reading Putting Alice Back Together this evening so going to put my review up now and then get cracking on the next OH thinks I am mad how quick I can get through a book but I am glad I am a quick reader at times. My mum was looking through all my review books and she says she wants to read them too :rotfl:

I finished "Pink Hotel" yesterday so must get it reviewed too. "The Blue Door" has just been given back to me after being round my entire family I think! Not sure what we are supposed to do with the books when we have read them. Have to decide which one I should read now. DH reading "Circle of Shadows" at the moment as it has to be reviewed soon!

Well done to your DH Wingo. I think it was really spooky that "Synchronised" didn't seem to want to run. Did you see him looking at the 1st fence when the jockey rode him up to look at it?

I did Pink Hotel a little while back. i enjoyed that too. My mum currently has Talking To The Dead. Next on my list is Secrets Of The Tides and then 4 more to do after that :rotfl: - Not that I am complaining at the constant stream of new material. Really enjoying having new books, especially ones that aren't out yet (or are very new on the market). So good to get things you wouldn;t necessarily buy yourself too as opens your eyes to new authors/genres.

Not too sure about what to do with the books afterwards either but for now I am keeping them all as will read some of them again. Failing that I will put them on the book shelf for MIL's work

I haven't had any books from Waterstones to review despite entering them all, is there a secret to winning them lol?

I read so many books, even hubby wonders how I read so quick lol

Have you read any by Diane Chamberlain? I have read 'Midwives Confession' & 'The Lost Daughter' both were brilliant.

Just finished 'Hollow Earth' which I enjoyed but found it seemed to just end, I've heard there's a sequel to it coming next year so hope it's as good.

pms do you email for the facebook ones they put up too? Don't think there's a secret to winning but do wonder if they see you have done the reviews for others they have sent you they are more inclined to send more. Don't know if there's anything in that?
