  • Afternoon all. Have had a busy few days, but today has been at home with daughters both doing revision and coursework. They're like chalk and cheese. One is very dedicated, but still wants you to read through and check everything, the other is a bit more laid back and gets insulted if you try and help!

Sunshine and showers her in Liverpool, so there's a few ladies getting wet at Aintree today. Some friends have gone so hope they're having a lovely time. Anyone having a flutter tomorrow? I'm going for Chicago Grey, just because I liked the name!

Well so far the rest of the day hasnt been too bad! :D I've talked hubby into looking round the new houses that are built near hospital where hubby works and we all loved them inside. Just dont know if its worth part exchanging ours for one. We need to do ours up which is gonna cost a substantial ammount where as the new ones include kitchen etc and more spacious. I just dont know if we can take the plunge. :o

Dreams, that must have been a worry for you, glad your DS is safe xx
I'm ashamed to say I havent been opening the LEM's, just read the title 'sorry you havent won...' :o I did win a couple of yrs ago through text when it was a grand and I entered around 35 mins past hour, dont know if that was the time they checked.

Glad your hubby is ok too sheils xx fancy the doctor worrying you like that!
Never been to Mcarthur glen but would like to go :)

Well done on getting your hubby to finish his diy PMS :T (Got any tips on how you made him do it? :D)

No wins today (again) only postal surveys! Seem to be getting loads a week now! Dont mind though if it means free stamps seeing as post offices are rationing on the remaining cheap ones!

Good news is though...my trampolines coming next week!

On some of my LEM's it says Subject: Sorry, you missed out on the last draw with Pepsi Max. Then below that is an arrow coloured in orange which says Important mainly because of your interaction with messages in the conversation.
Maybe I am not filling it in right, I know the first 1 or 2 I didn't see the box to mark agreed with conditions but they flashed that up and I ticked the box. I know with Roboform it sometimes does not put my address in right and I have to adjust it. Other than that I think I am filling it in correctly.
Do you get any additional messages like that?

This is all mine say :-

Sorry, your code didn't win in this hourly draw.

All is not lost – Grab another MAX quick and you can get into the next draw there are plenty of chances!

What you waiting for? Grab a pack, get a code and away you go...

    Hi all :)

TFI Friday! Had enough of work for one week and it's only been a 4 day one :rotfl::rotfl:

Went in post office and asked for 12 2nd class stamps and they only had 6 left in the whole place and 4 of them were Xmas ones :rotfl::rotfl:

Going to pop and try Asda and see if they have any left. I've bought quite a few so far for postals/postpals mail after the increase but could do with some more :)

    xx

    Wingobins,
Your trampoline picture has me in stitches. Where do you find the pictures?
That was a wonderful prize of £1,000 you won a few years ago. I think (my opinion) that perhaps the prize will be rewarded on a certain time each day. Sounds easy, if we only knew which time!
You should forward your email back to the company to prove you sent it. Hope you get your chocolate gift set.

    Great news melvis :) :T
Make a note of the day that is printed on your post box you'll deliver to, you need that. I was putting the wrong day in first thinking it was whatever day I posted it on! All the postboxes have 3 letters of a day on them. It's pretty straight forward. You get sent smarts after a few weeks which you need to send off but all the envelopes are pre paid :)

The day? You mean on the white bit on the front of the postbox? and my nearest postbox is at the post office so do I need to use a regular postbox? It's ok if I do as there's one on the doggy walking route and one when I get off the bus at work :)

    and what are smarts? xx
