A healthy 16kWh for me today, my best day since install, and my first O of the 4 variety4kWp system (Feb 2014) : 1.5 SW, 2.5 NE (16x Bisol BMO/250, Aurora Power-One UNO PVI-3.6 Inverter : pvoutput.org/list.jsp?id=299350

Another 6 Os for me today. I've made more energy in each of the last 3 days than I import in a week!
Lovely cloudless dayBeautiful curve

That curve is a thing of beauty... I'm waiting for one of those. I've had a smattering of clouds/haze getting in the way these past days.4kWp system (Feb 2014) : 1.5 SW, 2.5 NE (16x Bisol BMO/250, Aurora Power-One UNO PVI-3.6 Inverter : pvoutput.org/list.jsp?id=299350 -
26.8kWh today:beer::T
I wonder if this is as good as I'll get? Will have to wait and see...:D4kw (16X250w Sharp). Samil Solar River 3680 TL inverter.

The SMA's have good shade management so might help already if you have one, or may need to be set up slightly different by the installer.
My ESE looks very similar with the chimney to the SSW of the panels. Only one string, and the panels go right up to the chimney. It certainly doesn't help, but my annual generation is about on target, so the effect might be smaller than I'd expected it to be.
Mart.
it's a Schuco badged Sunny Boy 3300 (I thought it was the 3800 but Pete the Sparky told me yesterday), set up on 2 strings - top row on 1, bottom row on 2 - I think?!
This doesn't help as the shade sits across both rows, thus killing output.
At 15.18 today we'd done 20.4 kWh.
As of 18.30, we'd done 21.3 kWh
Heres the breakdown of the day, which I've split into to 2hr windows, dunno why!
You can see the generation tails off around midday, as the shadow comes in to play then.4kWp, SSE, SolarEdge P300 optimisers & SE3500 Inverter, in occasionally sunny Corby, Northants.
Now with added Sunsynk 5kw hybrid ecco inverter & 15kWh Fogstar batteries. Oh Octopus Energy too.0 -

I used to watch my garage drop from 1.6kWh generation down to 3-400W in minutes when my first panel went into shade. I did swap to solaredge with PO's....BUT....my FiT for the garage is 46.8p so to me it was worth it, for you I'm not so sure.
As an alternative, do you use the chimney? May be cheaper to reduce that than to retro fit to your existing system...just a thought.2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)0 -
Wow - 12.49 kWh, 6.24 O, my best day since 9th July.
Not only that but I noticed towards the end of the day that the panels were completely covered with a layer of (Saharan?) dust so we've cleaned all that off to try and squeeze a few more watts out.
2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.0 -
20kWh today, approx 6.7 Os.
Re shading, when I was out over the winter I spotted some panels that were being shaded. I was amazed that anyone would fit panels on a roof in that location. It was south facing but surrounded by trees. That was in winter so no leaves on the trees.
Brings another level to shading and I can't imagine even micro inverters or optimisers help when every panel is shaded. Maybe in the peak of summer the sun is high enough overhead for part of the day but they can't be getting much in the way of output.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
