    Phew,

Thought my systems were acting up when i got home and i'd only achieved 0.3 O's today

    All failed miserably...............0.36 O's...smiley-laughing021.gif

On the sunnier side this November was better for me than last.
Darker side is; December last year was only 50% ish of November '12.

On the much brighter side; e-mailed my reading to EON last Friday evening, do-sh in the bank Today....:D coffee.gif

Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

TBH I'm not so bothered about the saving / payback so much as the interest and awareness it has instilled in my children, that's what's worth it.

Hiya aeb, that's something I've been banging on about too. PV (and solar thermal) are very visual, and will help inform the next generation, as they grow up with them as the norm. Large wind is similar, but bringing generation right [STRIKE]into[/STRIKE] onto our homes and (and gardens) is a real eye opener, and thought inducer.

And whilst your PV may be lower down, I'm sure your children's friends will still get to see them and be intrigued too. Roll on the revolution!

Now for the down-side ..... weather forecast said 'reasonable' for yesterday, and of course, was wrong. Larger system with non-decimal point TGM scored zero, and smaller system scored 0.3kWh, giving me a mighty 0.054 O ..... O well!

Good news is that forecast for today and weekend is really good, and I can't believe they'll be wrong again .... shirley not. :p

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.
  • Well, second anniversary today.

Not quite managed to make 8 MWh(total), and this year over 200 kWh down on last year. Unless I make 9 kWh or more tomorrow, only 3 months will have been over PVGIS estimate for the year. :o

On the plus side, I have recovered over 34% of my investment. ;)

I have had quite a few days beating last years best day. Here's hoping that this year will be a 'worst' year in the many to come. :D
  • Woww, I managed 00.32 O's; me thinks, things are on the way up very soon....coffee.gif
