Actually I read it as Scottish Power, but I was far more interested in the DIY via Ebay suggestion.
If I thought I could get away with it, as we edge towards "net metering", I could convert the roof of my garage and the roof of my "workshop" (shed) and create an extra 6 kWp of capacity. However someone might well shop me to the local council and my Hong Kong DNO might get a bit upset as my voltage regularly appears to exceed 250v.
Any way for the moment, I will continue to sit on my hands and see what happens on 11th of December, when "UK Power Networks" (aka (長江實業(集團)有限公司) have promised for the third time to reroute my local network.
As it seems to be a political hot potato at the moment, does anyone know how the responsibilities and the profits are shared out between those who generate, those who sell, those who distribute and those who deliver the power locally. I think we should be told.0 -
