5kWh yesterday and 0kWh the day before :(

    ? begs the question....
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).
  • A big fat zero? Some problem with the inverter or power supply?

Rubbish day until the sun broke through about 5ish, but still made 7kWh.

It was a very overcast/foggy wet day where it never seemed to get light.

The current cost monitor only measures whole units so might have generated 0.9kWh ;)

    Cheers

Feels more like Feb than late May:D

Ha! Where I live we had snow down to 1600/1700 metres on Friday and Saturday and 45cm higher up; Sunday afternoon I was playing football down on the plain in the high 20s with a bottle of saline rehydrating solution near me on the touchline!..

I follow you obsessives with interest :D..as I'm moving back to the UK very soon.. Do any of you live on the Hampshire coast; t'would be interesting to compare your experience versus PVGIS?
  • Clocked up 9kWh yesterday as the day was not great, today however lookes like a corker :)

Our system has only ever recorded 0.0kWh when the panels were covered in snow, and performances of 0.9kWh or less only in the middle of winter when the days are very short. Our panels must perform better in low light I guess as we haven't recorded less than a 2kWh/day since 24th March. Today is overcast but right now the panels are still generating 0.3kW, which should result in a >1kWh for the day as a whole even if it stays like this (0.421kWh thus far).

A pretty good rule of thumb is that at any given time of the year the best days will generate 10x the kWh that the worst days will, but that will vary with panels and inverters.

Well, the weather forecast was 50% right...said sunshine and cloud all day. What I got was the cloud until 16.30, and then some nice sunshine.
    3.9 O's for me:D

Pretty dire 5.0kWh today (1.35 O's), the sun only made an appearance late afternoon (too late for SE panels).
