I've been happy with my investment, thus far :).
My location does seem to produce good results for the relatively small system I have. We've only had 3 months that we haven't achieved/exceeded our target/predicted generation, and two of these by only single digit amounts. In fact, even if we produced 0 kWh between now and id-August, we'd still be on target!

Maximum daily generation since installation, achieved on only 5 days, is 16kWh (7.20 Os).
According to my (very sad:o) spreadsheets/graphs, average daily generation, for the 932 days since installation, is 6.07kWh but as this is currently comprised of 3 winters and 2 summers I'd expect (hope!) that to increase by the end of our third year when we've had a third summer.

Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

PVs off early tonight! Cold, windy afternoon with rain. More of the same tomorrow:(
    3.56 O's today:D
Looking at yesterday's output on Sunny Explorer I noticed a spike of 5kW at 13.25. Is this possible? Checked the loft...no burning smells and the roof is still on;)

2 O's today;
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).
  • 24kWh yesterday :)

Not often you get days that hot and sunny :D

Well on track for thumping May's target :p

Solar Immersion still doing it's job except when the wife has a huge bath on a very overcast day so there is no buffer of hot water to see us through to the next day

Pi55ing it down today tho... :(

Friday got 3.87 O's and yesterday 4.23 O's. In fact, despite 'odd' weather, every day of week 3 has been over average (3.58 O's) so far. And import only 48kWh's so far. :D

Music today from a land that points there PV north. Great tracks from long ago, but not sure if they were ever released in the UK:

Well after a rather an up and down week it seems the sun has made an appearance today. Currently knocking out over 3k, just in time to cook my sunday roast for free:D

    And on that note

Edit: 4.5 O's in total today, dishwasher on twice, one load of washing and cut the grass. Am I the only one that leaves the grass until I can cut it with "free" electric?

Recently we've had a spike of 4.4 displayed on the Sunny Beam but looking at the data on the PC the max has been 4.02 kw, it usually caps at 3.96 and then there is a nice flat top to the graph.

That was a couple of weeks ago. The last week has been awful, pathetic, sad and somewhat miserable.
