Mine's been heating my water since 10am. The boiler has been off most of this month. The roast is waiting in the wings. steady 3.7-3.8kW at the moment.

Yes, love my solar panels. :D

Totally agree. It's fun for 'some' I suppose, but is clearly misleading some members of the forum.

    So we've got:-

O's for Oscars - generation expressed as kWh's/kWp.

E's for Erics - value of generation divided by the equivalent ISA interest that the monies would have earned, if not invested in PV.

Potentially, I's for InVestor - generation expressed in straight income terms.

    (E I E I O)

Perhaps we can look for the missing A's & U's, for the full vowel collection. At that point I'm guessing it'll be easier to learn Klingon, than to make sense of this thread! :D

What idiot started this all off, by sending Oscar on a power crazed world domination frenzy? I bet he's Welsh.

    Mart (from Wales).
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

    3.44 O's today, black clouds GM gone to sleep. 4.17 I's; 8.6 kWh; 'Can't do E's. smiley-laughing021.gif

15.8 more I's this April so far, compared to last year (not accounting for RPI increase) :rotfl:
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

    22.5 kWh today (£10.90)

heated my water, mowed the lawn, jet washed the car, roasted Sunday dinner. All free :D

Had quite a few more days over 20kWh this month than same last year.

Still slightly down on the month, but looking good for last few days.

Today was supposed to be very cloudy with quite a bit of rain expected. Afraid we saw very little rain - just a few showers (well it is April - I could have forecast that several months ago) but luckily the water tanks are still well over half full.

I didn't bother posting yesterday but could have used same sentence + "TG=15.1kWh"

And it works again today - except that it's "TG=15.5kWh"

Remember folks, you read it here first : "regardless of what forecasters claim to predict, the rest of April will be 'Sunshine & showers' as indeed will the first few days in May".

We did cook lunch - and most of that was with free power. Ran dishwasher with free power at start but alas had to buy a bit for the final drying cycle. But I am reasonably certain that I didn't pay anything like £7 for the power I have bought today.

Actually I was talking about Dr Frankenstein, not his creation. After all, where does the true blame line? And whose door will the townsfolk head for with their pitchforks and torches - yours or mine?

2.87 O's today, or 16kWh's in old money.
