If you do an advanced "search this thread" on my name you will find more details against some of my postings, giving information about my installation and its geography. If there is anything else that you need to know send me a Private Message or post the query here.

If you can post similar details of your proposed roof, I am sure that there will be some helpful suggestions as to its suitability.

Can somebody please explain what are "0"s?

I understand KwH, but no idea what this reference to "0"s are.

It's a measure of your system's efficiency. The O unit was 'named after' forum member Oscargrouch a few months ago. It is kWh generated divided by the kWp rating of the system.

A 2kWp system generating 12kWh is said to produce 6 Os, whereas a 4kWp system generating 12kWh would produce 3 Os - and hence it is seen to be working at half the efficiency.

Now it makes sense, I am getting 4kw panels but a 3.68kw invertor, do I divide by 4 or 3.68?

    4. We had that discussion a while back and that was the consensus. Using 3.68 would give you an artificially high value since for most of the time your panels will generate more than 3.68kWp of panels would.

    10.3 kWh today.

Will this be the seventh month in a row below PVGIS Climate estimate?

According to yesterday's forecast it was supposed to rain from about 2pm. It didn't, dry and sunny most of the day until dusk., so I got 11.21 kWh. (5.6 O) Today, however is another story.

Glad I'm not the only one to notice the complete lack of accuracy from our forecasters lately.

Wednesday wasn't a very thrilling forecast and we didn't generate a lot (although it was better than I had been led to expect).

Yesterday was forecast to be rather better but we only managed approx 6kWh.

Today was supposed to be very cloudy with quite a bit of rain expected. Afraid we saw very little rain - just a few showers (well it is April - I could have forecast that several months ago) but luckily the water tanks are still well over half full. Their cloudiness forecasting was even worse ! 22kWh on the day with several peaks nudging 4kW (indeed the 5 min average @12:40 was 4.008). Maybe a few less clouds might have lifted that to 30 kWh but I can live with the disappointment.

PVGIS forecast for April is 353 (original) or 381 (revised rules) and we've already generated 383kWh for the month. Quietly confident of generating something during next 4 days.
