Looks like another lovely day. Already generating nearly 3kW.

After 6 months in a row below PVGIS Climate estimate, looks like I will finally get one above.

Better than expected yesterday, 11.04 kWh (5.52 O), two more days like that and I will exceed last April and PVGIS classic and almost hit SAF PVGIS for the month, so I am slightly happier. :)
2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.

This is just like the code that farmers used to use, when talking about their subsidies:
"Oh now many acres of rape are you planting and how many of wheat and barley?"
[click click click blimey that means he will be getting a cheque for ££££££££]

The way things are going, It may soon be possible to simply say how many acres have you got ? [click £££££££££] Though when a group of journalists got access to the payments database and started publishing the results there was a ruling that it was an invasion of individual privacy. Yes even for the likes of Elizabeth II, one of the big hitters along with Primark. - a friend of mine was only getting £10k a year.

How long before some enterprising blogger scrapes the FiT database and publishes a map with all our addresses on it. Linking it to Google maps and getting a little thumb tack on each of our homes should not be too much of an ask.

Might be inflaming the other tax paying peasants if we bang on about money too often.

Here are the results from my sunshine farm for the last week:

    kWh Oscarz

    13.39 3.72 23/04 Monday
    23.40 6.50 24/04 Tuesday
    21.10 5.86 25/04 Wednesday
    21.66 6.02 26/04 Thursday
    10.67 2.96 27/04 Friday
    12.63 3.51 28/04 Saturday
    23.21 6.45 29/04 Sunday

Surely there is some scientist out there who can invent a spray that is good for bees, but stops the grass growing so fast?

    22.5 kWh today (£10.90)

heated my water, mowed the lawn, jet washed the car, roasted Sunday dinner. All free :D

Had quite a few more days over 20kWh this month than same last year.

Still slightly down on the month, but looking good for last few days.

Hi - How are you calculating the £10.90? Presumably you're getting one of the earlier higher FiT payments (lucky you!)

Still loving it myself though even at 14.5p!! Long live solar.

Yes, I'm on the original rate.
    Generation tariff 46.81p x 22.5 = £10.53
    Export tariff 1.65p(effectively) x 22.5 = £0.37

This does not include savings on my electricity bill or savings on gas.

You can console yourself knowing you probably paid a lot less for your system than I did ;)

Yes, I'm loving my system too. 2 years running and so far working flawlessly.

11.90 kwh or 3.96 O's today :j:j:j. Been quite good past few days. Today also gone over the PVGIS target for the month. This is only the second time it met the target in past 11 months. Last time was in December.

Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).
