The OP clearly says "my question is...." and that is the question I answered.
Some of us may feel that the attic is not the best place for the inverter but that was not part of the 'question'.NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -

I am getting a 4kw install next month.
The installer wants to put the inverter in the loft.
My fuse box is in the garage.
My question is what is the point of a digital display on the inverter when it is somewhere you can not see it?.
My installers were going to put it in the loft but were quite happy to put it in the garage instead (both are easy to access). I did ask if having a longer wire from the panels to the inverter meant more losses but they said no (don't know if that is true).I think....0 -
Still on target this month;)

Just 0.2 Os.I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".0

i am having my 4kw system installed in 2 weeks.
I have a 35 degree roof, exactly south facing with no shade.

I am reading some dissapointing figures on here.
