I need the newness to wear off a bit - I am sitting here at work thinking I 'need' to connect the inverter to the lan so I can monitor usage remotely....

Now that is what you would think....but apparently FIT payments although tax free do count as income for tax credits purposes
See my reply on the other thread. I am 99.9% certain this is untrue.

Only used 6 units of Gas in June thanks to my iboost. The daily standing charge was 4 times as much as out unit usage!

Sadly the tariffs with low standing charges have rediculous unit rates!

We have only used 3 units infact its 2.63 to be exact.

We get our gas from Npower 2.999p per kWh and Standing charge is £25.33 per year about 7p a day.

Moved form OVO as we were paying 25.99p per day and 3.38 per kWh

Electric is 21.46 per day and 10.39 per kWh against 27.40p per day and 10.80p per kWh

No gas used since mid April and don't want to see that change until well into October. Saves me about 6kWh of gas per day as it is a long way from boiler to tank and pipes are not and cannot easily be lagged.

    I'm with F/U and only used 1 unit of gas which cost me £1.87 + £6.30 a month S/C:eek:

Tried all the tariffs with no S/C but, because of my.....or Mrs l's high winter usage, this

is the best deal for us:D

Lovely day today, just how I like it - bright start, clouding over late afternoon ;)

We landed a 6.64 Maiden today, so good start overall to the month.

@Merlin - which tariff are you on with npower? Their current tariffs aren't anywhere near that?
