5.37 Os. Much the same as yesterday.

At last, Ovo's complaints people telephoned to discuss my smart metering. I now feel as though some action will be taken to get the systems up and running.
I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".

I very respectable 6.39 Os, a few cloudy spells but otherwise pretty good - it was also our annual street party, unusual for the weather to be so good....
    I think....

Don't worry about it; we all have to pay tax on our income....If you don't, the rest of us have to pay the shortfall... :rotfl:....coffee.gif

A Hawaii for us so far today!!!! YAY!!!!!
Has anyone else who is with Eon for their fit payments received a letter and a new Feed in Tariff Terms and Condition booklet?

Think you will find Winky, the only change from the original contract is that EoN now only accepts FIT applications from people that currently have Electric & Gas from them. This only applies to new applications.....;) As you are a low user and a high exporter, you may find the 'smart' an advantage...:D

    A/an Hawaii + 1 O's.......coffee.gif
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

    4.5 ho's yesterday, rounded up by 0.002!

Very dull here, normally by this time on a sunny day I'd have well over 3 ho's in the bag at this point, so unless something miraculous happens then I won't get 2 ho's all day today :(

Essex was ok by the way!
4kWp, SSE, SolarEdge P300 optimisers & SE3500 Inverter, in occasionally sunny Corby, Northants.
Now with added Sunsynk 5kw hybrid ecco inverter & 15kWh Fogstar batteries. Oh Octopus Energy too.

Thanks Merlin will have a look at the link!!! Cheers!!!

We don't have an export meter. We do however have a new smart meter!!

    Edwink ;)

ETA:- Thanks again merlin!! Had read the same obviously in the booklet I have!!

Hello Edwink. If your new smart meter (like mine) measures export then you are vulnerable to losing your 50% deemed export status.
