Double zero here, I had to resort to font size to make that bigger. Forecast for next 2 days is more of the same.

Now I know why the kWh meter has two places of decimals - so you can tell that the system has not died, or drowned.
I am protected from run off from a hill side to the rear, by a ditch.
The previous owner, to gain more garden, had tried to fill it in, saying there had been no water in it all the time he had lived there.
Well that was nearly 40 years ago. For the first 5 years the ditch remained dry. Then a wet winter tried to send more water down it.
I decided to dig it out again and completed the task only 10 years ago, installing a 5" pipe to make a bridge at one point.
Fortunately I left the surface of the crossing about a foot below the rim of the 4 ft deep ditch. Back in the summer the pipe could not cope and again this week we had water rushing over the "bridge" as well as under it.
The water shed of this ditch along the foot of the hill is less than 50 yards the other side of the cul de sac from me. That neighbour has blocked his ditch and this week the water has been flooding through his garden and torrenting down his drive into the road.

It has nothing to do with climate change - whether or not you subscribe to it.
The ditch was felt to be necessary when whoever it was first dug it out.
A few low rainfall years should not have justified filling it in !
I'm quietly confident that for any eight of the next ten years you'll see the ditch dry for most of the time but if any idiot neighbours pull the same stunt they'll reap their just reward later if not sooner.NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -

I will step forward on that one; 'Climate Change' or 'Global Warming'; make your minds up..Nature is always changing, goes cold(Ice Age) gets warmer(Global Warming) back to the Ice Age and so on. What did we hear in March; 'ground water is so low, it will not recover this year' (hence the hose pipe ban). Where are we now, 'ground so saturated, it cannot take any more'.Should we trust any of the theories. :rotfl:

Almost got there yesterday but in fact my total generation for this month crept above the Dec 2011 figure (which was itself 21% above the pvgis predictions) a few minutes ago.
Weather forecasts (for those who subscribe to such fantasies) are predicting another couple of sunny(ish) days between now & year end.
December is never going to beat any of the summer months of course but I'm delighted to note that earnings this month will indeed exceed my 'lost ISA interest' which of course has also happened in every other month that I've had them.NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -

A pretty lacklustre week or more of generation (can't recall when I last posted) with plenty of 1kWh or less days. Managed 4.5kWh today though and had a 3.4kWh gift from Santa on Tuesday.
December total currently 113.8kWh against PVGIS Classic estimate for the month of 82.3kWh, so we're +38% already with 4 days to go and a reasonable forecast. With a bit of luck we'll do +50% or maybe squeeze a +60% if we average 4.5kWh/day (Dec average so far has been 4.2kWh/day).Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0 -

I have had an appalling few days, a whole week of days well below 1kWh and today only 0.1. No sun forecast for the rest of the year, so I will be well down on PVGIS for December and don't even ask about PVGIS climate. There were a few good days in early January this year, e.g. Jan 2 was continuous sunshine - so I hope for more of the same in 2013.2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.0

I'm too scared to from Nov to Feb, that's why I stuck panels on every roof. If the cat's weren't so fast, or the postman so stroppy, they'd be on them too!
Generation this last week has remained average, with double days and zero days balancing out. Could do with a nice finish, but weather looks miserable, fantastic day tomorrow though, nice start to 2013.
