Well firstly calling the airline isn't going to help me know about compensation, as they will not be likely to volunteer such information.Look OP, why don't you just call the airline ? You thinking the airline will identify you is ridiculous ! They have lots of other passengers too you know.
And yes they will be able to identify me if I call them - but I'd hate for them to identify me on this site as a potential troublemaker and stop me booking flights in future. That sounds a bit paranoid but there have been allegations of underhand tactics by airlines mentioned on this site before.0 -

I think you're a lot paranoid. Why would they not tell you about compensation ? If it's in their t & c's you're entitled to it if your situation applies. How will they link your name to your user name on here ?

Lol, I can read their T&Cs online but it's EU regs compensation that I'm interested in, hence why I was asking here as it is an independent consumer revenge websiteI think you're a lot paranoid. What's the difference between a "reschedule" and a "cancellation and rerouting"? They sound to me like the same thing.
a 'reschedule' means the flight is still operating but the time has been changed. A 'cancellation and rerouting' would be when the original flight no longer is operating and someone is rerouted on another flight instead0
