Flight is earlier so can I get compensation?

Can anyone help explain the rules on changes in flight times within 14 days of departure? The flight has been brought forward from late afternoon to morning

A change in flight time is neither a cancellation, delay, or re-routing so it doesn't seem to fit the regulations.

You are clearly due £10,000 for the harrowing devastation this has caused you.

What are you expecting compensation for?

I don't think so. EU261/2004 covers cancellations and delays

can you link to the part that you think covers compensation for the flight being changed to an earlier time

Thanks for taking my question seriously.

(ii) they are informed of the cancellation between two weeks and seven days before the scheduled time of departure and are offered re-routing, allowing them to depart no more than two hours before the scheduled time of departure and to reach their final destination less than four hours after the scheduled time of arrival

The paragraph you have quoted is a sub-paragraph from the section on flight cancellation. It applies when an airline have cancelled your flight and are offering a re-routeing. In that event they must offer it to depart no more than two hours before the original time and arrive no more than four hours after original arrival. It does not apply to your case, which is a rescheule not a cancellation.

    Three questions:

    1)When do you fly
2)Who are you flying with, and what have they offered (if anything)
3)How many hours is the flight moved by/

You are on to a loser here though, there isn't any regulation for this kind of event, unless there is something in the T&Cs of the airline meaning you can get a little out of them.

That clause seems conditional on you having been offered re-routing.
