I received a survey this morning referring to my satisfaction with the service I had received from them regarding my recent contact with them, and how I would rate them regarding the level of satisfaction received from them. Well............. !
I shall await with interest about how they will respond to the survey I have filled in.0 -
Probably the same way as they normally respond to most things by ignoring it:D
I hope not but leopards never changing their spots come to mind;)0 -
No reply to the e-mail I sent BG yesterday.
Nothing in post today either.0 -
I have still not been advised if I have been awarded the WHD and nothing is showing on my account. I am now in the process of submitting an official complaint about the terrible customer service and apathy of Scottish Power regarding the WHD. I will post the details later which will be sent off to SP, OFFGEM and the Energy Secretary.
Why do they have to make it so hard for customers???0 -

Why don't you just be patient? They said payment will be made by 31st March so only a few more days to wait. If you meet the criteria and haven't heard anything, then why worry? You'll be getting it.
In answer to your question, there are a number of worrying factors. My bill is due, if the WHD is not applied before the bill is made up they will without doubt put my monthly payments up, which I cannot afford. When payments are increased it is not always that easy to get them reduced again.
It is all well and good knowing yourself you meet the criteria but that does not automatically mean you will get the payment. this site and others are littered with people who meet the criteria, only to be told that they are not getting the payment.
Being patient is all well and good but it does not stop the worry that goes with it, when you have the uncertainty of not knowing. The main point is that the energy companies are not playing fair by not telling people. As a result there are many people out there worrying about whether or not they can turn the heating on or up. A simple bit of communication from the energy companies could make all the difference. I appreciate they need to make checks but they could tell people that subject to the checks being completed they will be receiving the payment. It is not rocket science but is a level of customer service that should not be too much to expect.0 -
I have been told on two separate occasions by British Gas that my payment was issued on the 7th of March but I have YET to receive it, surely it doesn't take 3 week plus for myself to recieve the payment via letter. They only have 2 more days! :mad:0

Just received a letter from 'Amanda' at CHARIS. That was the person corresponding with me via email asking for particular pieces of information which I duly scanned and sent to her. My last correspondence with her on the morning of the 22nd was asking for the 2nd page of my award letter with specific dates. I managed to locate this document after days of searching my house. ( I am usually very organised with paperwork but I had filed this away in the wrong file). I scanned and emailed this to her and to the team at British Gas Customer Care in Leeds at 3:58 pm. She did not acknowledge receipt of this and basically I have been left hanging until I received her letter by post this morning which said " Based on the evidence you have provided, your application has not been successful".
I am speechless as to what has happened. Feel I have been treated very poorly.0 -
