I think this probably sums up how I felt and feel at times. There were good times with his family and friends... my own family is not very close and without getting too far into my background etc they appeared to be everything i wanted my own family to be.

Now I see things very differently. They use alcohol to mask their real feelings... At least myfamily have arguements and sort issues out, regardless of how 'dysfunctional' that may appear to outsiders lol!
