They are definately dafodils! the reason they are like that at the ends is because they have been pulled upwards from the bulb rather than the stems broken a couple of inches above the bulb as is usual! definately poisinous to eat! but rather lovely to look at! We've had a few things in our veg box and thought - what's that? (Sorry but I'd never seen kohl rabi before!) But now even DS aged 3 knows most veg by name (and will even eat some!) which is one of the reasons we did it.
