I have had my veg box delivered today and have this in it but i have no idea what it is, cant find anything on google either.

            Is it lemon grass? Take a look at this on Wikipedia. Try cutting the top off - it'll have a distinct lemony smell. If it is, you're lucky - I can't get it here.

            yep they look like daffs to me too! How funny to put them in your veg box - perhaps they should let you know when they put flowers in, just in case some one decides to stir fry them!0
