  • I have just done a search on green garlic and it says they look similar to spring onions- that pic looks more like daffs than spring onions. Can you tell us what it is yet? We are all dying of curiosity here!:rotfl:

Sorry!! I had to get my cleaning done so shut the pc down...or i wouldnt of got anything done lol

There not joined at the bottom, think thats just the way the pic was..... Also i have cut the bottoms and there is a definate flower type smell. So i am assuming they are daffs! Well have put them in water and will hope for the best lol.. they are on my window next to the lovely purple pansys i also got in the box! lol

Math, i love the suprise of it. I have had some veg that i have never even seen before let alone tasted....only to fnd its gorgeous. Things ive not found in the supermarket before either. In fact there has only been 1 thing i dont like...and thats artichokes (and i ave a big bag of them here)

Thanks for all your replys everyone xx

They have to be daffodils. Trim the ends (the opposite end to the buds) and put in fresh water in a vase.

    Enjoy!

    Is it okra (ladies fingers)?

Could be!? But I thought okra was more creamy in colour? This is bugging me now!

No definitely not that I checked it earlier ... I've e-mailed someone the picture for clarification :embarasse
