im just worried about it as im already in financial difficulty, and im leaving my job as im no longer able to work due to illness.

Even if I was Parking Eye, knew who you were and fancied taking a punt on court, why would I bother attempting to sue somebody who clearly has no money?

Even if hell froze over and they did and they won, you'd simply ignore the CCJ. Winning in court doesn't magically make the money fly out of your pocket and land in theirs.
  • I have provided evidence that I was 7 miles away at the time of the 'offence' and asked them to look at their own CCTV shots ( which they used to show the 'offence') to prove I was not driving AND i have refused to disclose who was driving ( thanks Martin Lewis!). I am now going to ignore their pathetic letters. Straight to recycling!
  • try not to worry - it's all hot air. Good luck !

I know it's hard but try not to worry - they're all hot air. You'll be fine.

I too got very stressed by a parking fine incurred by someone else who was driving my car - I was furious! He checked out Martin Lewis' website and I have done the step by step approach to disputing the fine. Seems they have no basis in law at all. Good luck!

Well done Katy! Just to remind everyone, here are the steps you need to take:

Step 1: Ignore the first letter.
Step 2: Ignore the second letter.
Step 3: Ignore the third letter.
Step 4: Ignore the fourth letter.
Step 5: Ignore the fifth letter.
Step 6: Ignore the sixth letter.
Step 7: Ignore the seventh letter.
Step 8: Sit back and say... they've gone!!

You seem to have dealing with this sorted. However, you didn't need to waste your time providing 'evidence' (why do their job for them, especially when it makes no difference?) and we would usually advise keeping the letters they send you as they can be used as a basis for a harassment case should you feel the need to do so later on.

My wife has also had a so called fine from this group. The car park she was in is shared with a restaurant and she was in that premises having lunch. When the first demand arrived we spoke to the manager of the restaurant who said to bring the letter in and they would deal with it, which we did. All done I thought.Wrong, 2nd letter arrived demanding payment. Sent PARKING EYE an e-mail giving full details telling them I would not pay and that their tactics were nothing short of harassment. Third letter arrived today demanding payment. So I have now sent another e-mail and copied it to Farm Foods whom PARKING EYE seems to suggest they are representing in car park fine enforcement.

This is a disgrace I would like to know how many vulnerable or elderly people have been scared into paying these fines by the threatening letters and increases quoted for not paying.

I await the next letter and a reply from Farm Foods.

    Stop replying. Easy.

And your wife didn't get a fine.

Parking Eye are useless. Wait till you get the toilet paper from the even more useless Roxburghe, and then that acme of uselessness, the "I'm as fake as the parking ticket" so-called solicitor, Graham White. (Roxburghe in disguise). Then you will realise how STUPID these people think you are; though really they are just demonstrating how stupid THEY are if you take no notice.
