I like the tuff talk, and your mentality, more power to your elbow. But what evidence and Knowledge can you offer to people to back up the tuff stance. I'm sure people will be interested to what makes you different from most people. No I doubt that very much. If I was told work unpaid over time I'd say no thanks. If they underpaid me I'd demand the money, if they cancelled my shift with no notice I'd say they had to let me work it and pay me. If I was told I get no breaks even if it was against the law and stated in my contract that I do (and yes there have been 2 posters on here where their new jobs told them they can not leave the buliding at lunch time & they get no break) I would just take them. Yes ok so they may sack me and they would regret the day they met me and the others who do so are crawlers deserve what they get as they could not step up and speak up! These are the people who are lettings companies get away with this kind of thing as ACAS say not many people challenge their boss as they are too scared too. Sorry, not me.0 -

There is nothing other than the law is the law and a contract is legally binding and if that's not what I am getting in the workplace I would speak up regardless of having no one to back me.
Even my old boss said to me once 'I wish I could be more like you' to which I said 'you can be'.0 -

Are you serious? You are saying you have no choice on your contract? LOL Do not talk rubbish. If a contract says you get one hour break, then you get one hour break. If your company do not allow you to take it more fool you etconceuponatime wrote: »Yes what proof do you have. For most people they dont get a choice on there contract. They have to put up with what they are offered. What job do you have, one does wonder.
Like I say people who sit there and take all the !!!! deserve what they get like we're living in Victorian times with no rights!
I have no job at the moment actually as I was made redundant as the company was losing money and still are to my delight!
