I too must second what the poster lorry said.
We have been told exactly the same thing by motability that it is perfectly acceptable for my wife to use my sons motabilty car to go to work.
In our case this enables her to travel to the special school he attends to collect him when he falls ill , without having to travel the 12 miles between work and home by some other method to collect a car first.
So some people may disagree with it, and for the fact that he gets escort provided transport by minibus to and from school, but i really think there are more important things to worry about in the world.
The bottom line is that I think that there are a lot of jealous people out there that would just love to have a car paid for by the DLA.
The government pay the benefit direct to Motability so for all intents and purposes it doesn't cost people anything.0
