Find My ........ Samsung Galaxy (app)??

Typical response really.
You took the hump in the thread regarding re-using postage stamps (probably due to your sig no doubt), followed me into some other thread with a bit of a whingy attitude, some other thread & here. Way i see it is if you're only ever whinging at someone online, why not just ignore them? Problem sorted. Which is why i don't get why TGM follows me around trying to get me to read his post that he seems to be so proud of. Why not just ignore?0 -
I don't know who TGM is either
as I said you seem to have issues0 -
Ah that's good to know.
I had a look on the droid market for the TomTom app & there wasn't one. Shame really. I'm told there's a CoPilot one, which if anything like the CoPilot app for the iPhone isn't as good as the TomTom app (IMO). It means i'd have to find a new SatNav if i moved to android ... or resign myself to using CoPilot.0 -
So i currently own an iPhone 3GS. I read on here about an app called "findmyiPhone". I was sceptical about it, but downloaded it & it's actually very good. Everyone at home who has an iPhone now has this app. Top stuff, especially as it's free.
But the 3GS is set to be replaced, either by an iPhone5 or Samsung Galaxy S3 when they're released.
For all the reasons why the Galaxy is better than the iPhone, i'm leaning towards getting the Galaxy (thegoodman, simply don't bother replying, i can't be bothered with your nonsense). If i don't like the feedback on the iPhone5 or SGS3, then it'll be a Galaxy S2 that i'll buy.
Question is, do they have a similar app & if so then ....... is it any good? Is it just a tracker, or can you erase the phone too like you can with the iPhone app?Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it0 -
I agree about wheresmydroid. It works (free version) and there are lots of satnav apps as well. There are even speed trap apps too.
I suggest that you look here http://www.techradar.com/news/phone-and-communications/mobile-phones/50-best-free-android-apps-687252 for the sort of apps you might find useful.
Other half has S2. Great handset, but I have to admit sometimes has difficulty pairing with GPS even when my Apollo connects.
But the official Android market is brilliant. I even paid for my first app today to get rid of the one bugbear I have with Androids - having to swipe to answer a call - or miss it in many cases!0 -
I installed Cerberus on my Nexus and it was pretty good - even better if you are a power user who roots. It can do all kinds of things like track your phone, remote lock & wipe and even take a photo remotely (or when the pin is input incorrectly a set number of times).0

TomTom (on iPhone) is top drawer imo. I wouldn't even buy a standalone as it's just a great app & well worth the £50 i paid for it.
CoPilot on the other hand would be ok i guess (IF i didn't have TomTom, but as i do, it's crap compared).0 -
It wont be a big miss using co pilot over tomtom.I thought the same when i had the misfortune buying co pilot on my iphone but i found out how poor (gps issues and not as polished) it was and turned to tomtom later which was superb.
Getting my gs2 and trying co pilot again is a revelation compared what it was on my iphone.Just as fully featured like tomtom and works as well.
btw im using the older version of co pilot and by all accounts the new premium version is even better.0 -

Get Google Latitude - it's free. Simply log in to it with your Google account, then set up a second Gmail account on your computer, link the two accounts as friends on google.com/latitude, and log into the new account on your computer whenever you want to find your phone0 -
