so why would you pay for something thats free with the phone and only has uk or europe in it ,when you can have the world at your finger's

the google satnav works over data. Try using the google satnav in Europe and other places, you will know how much data cost you.

I installed Cerberus on my Nexus and it was pretty good - even better if you are a power user who roots. It can do all kinds of things like track your phone, remote lock & wipe and even take a photo remotely (or when the pin is input incorrectly a set number of times).

I'm using this currently and it works great. Tested out the wipe of SD card (after backing up my SD card) and it worked great.

Simple to use web interface too. Plus i got the app free :) thanks to the promotion they did the other week :D

Google Navigation does cache it's route, so if you 'plan' it indoors on wifi, it won't need extra data along the way (unless you need to re-route).
