Aah, but bananas are ten a penny (always some being listed around here - usually 100 at a time!) and crisps are like gold dust!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Ooh that would be amazing. Shame they never list any around here. I could stuff my freezer full of banana goodies!2025 decluttering: 5,050 🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅🌟🌟2025 use up challenge: 362🥉🥈🥇💎🏆Mini freezer challenge +4/-20Big kitchen declutter challenge 120/1502025 decluttering goals I Use up Challenge: 🥉365 🥈750 🥇1,000 💎2,000 🏆 3,000 👑 8,000 I 🥉12 🥈26 🥇52 💎 100 🏆 250 👑 5006

My neighbour will take any I have left - I quite often collect them from another Olioer for her (said Olioer often gets the banana collection and neighbour will have 30 odd!)Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Afternoon all,
Well looking back, I clearly spoke too soon - texted neighbour and she was fine for bananas! Have about 20 left and less than half of today's small collection. Today's included some use by items, so we've got those for lunch - chicken sarnie for DH and couscous for me. Also some mango pieces, so dessert is sorted.
A friend popped by for a cuppa this morning after she'd been to the dentist - it was a lovely surprise to see her (she did give me 30 mins warning, so at least the house was presentable!). Apart from that I have inflated my flat tyre, so we'll see if it goes down again or if it was just negligence on my part. No work has arrived overnight today, so I'm getting on with other jobs instead (and have been for a couple of walks to enjoy the sunshine!)
Used £10 of my birthday money to buy a weighted hula hoop on Fbook marketplace - after I said I wouldn't be able to pick up as car was out of action, the lady dropped it round for me, which was super kind of her. It doesn't half create bruises though! Am very sore with visible bruises on my back and the top of my hips today!
MS things:
* Free lunch
* Mac and cheese for dinner tonight, using free cherry toms and with free green beans
* Forgot to order extra milk from milkman yesterday so picked up two pints in T*sco this morning with my collection (MS but not ethical!)
* Clicks and spins done - won 15p
Gratitudes:
* Lovely catch up with friend
* Sunshine! (and bird song - the birds are definitely enjoying the sunshine too!)
* They've finally cleared the rest of the squishy, sloppy, slippery leaves from the footpaths so walking around the block is much nicer!
Have a good afternoon all!

Have applied for my ESTA for the US and am currently on hold waiting to speak to someone at Virgin Atlantic. For our original trip I used flying club points to pay for the chauffeur service to the airport that Upper Class ticket holders can use. The points don't appear to have been refunded when the flight was cancelled, so trying to see if they'll rebook for me... but call waits are 2 hours... I've had a cup of tea, emptied the dishwasher, done a sewing repair (it was quicker than expected), put washing away, written an email to a distant relative and done a PA survey all while on the phone..... now off to see what else I can do before I get through!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

I gave up at 1 hour 17… we went for a drive by of a house we’re viewing while it was still light… DH did not want the noise in the car!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Good grief! That's a terrible wait - good for you for finding accessible things to do in the meantime.
What did the house look like?2023: the year I get to buy a car6 -
In fairness to Virgin, the website does say there are waiting times of up to two hours and to contact them by alternative means… which I would, except their website is stupid and unless you want to talk to a chatbot that goes round in circles, you end up going round in circles! It says ‘use a contact form to get in touch’, click contact form, end up back where you started! Utterly infuriating!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days
