Enjoy your breakfast and I hope you find a buyer soon!
We also had veggie sausages and mash for tea last night! The bf isn't officially a veggie but he's getting there! Hehe x

Thanks all, we had a lovely breakfast in a cafe we’ve been meaning to visit for years. It was really nice, but nearly £30 for breakfast, so not an experience to repeat often! We even sat and read the paper for a bit though.Jimmy, that story sounds so familiar!! 🤣
Jessy DH isn’t a veggie either, but we mainly eat veggie at home unless I’m feeling extra nice and go to the butchers, but I haven’t done that in a while.
Back home now and DH is doing some little electrical jobs to finish off the living room - putting a socket back on the wall and changing one of the face plates for one with usb connections. Plans for the rest of the day focus on staying out of the rain!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Morning all,
Did well on eBay last night - £76.50 before fees! It got quite exciting at the end! Lots of parcels to dispatch today, if I can.Am off to an agm and lunch today. Unfortunately my friend who is the treasurer and person I know best in the organisation can’t make it because she’s stuck in Herefordshire with the floods (safe though). So while I’m sure it’ll be a nice day, I’m not looking forward to it as much as I was - it’s the introvert thing!
This morning though, I need to get parcels packed, get out for a walk and send a couple of work emails.
Gratitudes:
* blue sky - the storm has blown itself out!
* a lovely relaxed day yesterday, with yoga, a walk and a long-standing job done so I didn’t feel too lazy
* feeling pretty much back to health

Thanks Karma, it did go well and I am beginning to feel more a part of the group, which is nice. Lunch was lovely and I also ‘won’ one of the flower arrangements ☺️ (And apparently everywhere is phasing out oasis because it’s bad for the environment, didn’t know that but immensely pleased by it!)
Managed to get most of the eBay parcels posted and collected a box from mum on my way home for the last one.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Morning all,
Have been flying around this morning getting housework etc. done. Had a small supermarket delivery (£41) and have baked bread for lunch. Am cracking on with work this morning as didn't manage any yesterday and I've got to pick up niece from nursery later (Sis is at a wedding - on a Tuesday - *must* be very MSE!). Need to pop over the road with last ebay parcel too.
MS things:
* Clicks
* PA survey
* Bread baked - I have the stuff, it needs using! (and cheaper than lovely rolls from over the road)
* Lots of work
Gratitudes:
* New people met yesterday and gave me a lovely welcome
* Niece time this afternoon
* Lovely flowers from yesterday (ooh, and the tulips I got from freecycler have come out more and haven't drooped - on someone's advice at evening class I put a penny in the water - it seems to have worked!)

Just cashed out £19.41 on PA
And discovered that I won't need to have niece for long this afternoon - in fact, just picking her up and taking her home pretty much (unless I really crack on now and squeeze in a trip to the garden centre animals before taking her home to her dad (he'd swapped shifts but there'd been a breakdown in communication!)

Niece time sounds lovely! Any chance you can send some of that yummy homemade bread my way?! Pretty please!Mortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

Morning all,
Niece time was very brief in the end. I didn't get to her until gone half four, so picked her up and took her straight home (she might have fallen asleep in the car - whoops, naps are banned after 3.30pm! She only had ten minutes though). It was still lovely to see her though. She's such a Why-bird at the moment - why? why? why? Even when 'why' isn't answerable!
Jessy, I'd send you the bread but imagine it might be a bit stale by the time you get it!
Have just booked out NTbB night away (sneak preview - we're going to Suffolk) and was pleased to discover that because we couldn't go the weekend we'd planned, the hotel was £13 cheaper
Also managed to book Plusbus tickets for the trip to and from the station here and for our excursion on one of the days - £12.20 for both of us for those, which, when a single per person to the station here is £3.80 or something daft, is very good value! (And I got Nectar points too *where's the clapping smiley?*). So far, have spent £89 and only have food and two additional bus journeys to cover (approx. £20, but now wondering if a longer return might be cheaper than two singles - we're walking part of the route). Have ordered some Leisure Vouchers from S&S and will probably use those for the evening meal. Have lots of NT vouchers to cover snacks, lunches and cups of tea and scones!
Have also just signed up for an Amex card via DH - he'll get referral points. This will help us to buy Eurostar tickets for our Christmas market break (hopefully enough for this year's trip by then). The plan is to avoid flying, so anything that helps with the cost is good.
MS things:
* Clicks done, SBs earned from hotel booking and bonus point email from bing Rewards.
* PA - back to £1 already due to payments after I cashed out
* Disappointed about TSB interest reduction. Am tempted (once I've received the incentive for Mum's switch), to put the money into a fixed rate bond. It's part of my 'buffer fund', but only a small part and I (touch wood) have enough in easy access accounts that it shouldn't be an issue (in an emergency it would be accessible anyway). This would cut down somewhat on the faffing each month!
* Veg box coming today, but no milk as we've got plenty.
* Need to prep and semi-roast the parsnips in the bottom of the fridge
* Just remembered we're meant to be having pizza tonight - better do the dough later now.
Gratitudes:
* Saving on the hotel makes me feel better about the NTbB adventure - travelling by public transport is expensive!
* The happy look on my niece's face when I collected her from nursery(and when I shared some smarties with her
)
* A husband who doesn't mind weird meals to use things up. We had four fish fingers, half a bean burger and a tiny portion of chips each last night!
Have a good day all, I'd better get on with some work now!

Weird food is also a plus
