    Mega-excellent is definitely allowed :)

    (And the National Trust have noticed my blog! Eeeee! :j :j )

    Ahem.... also, another PA survey done and work is progressing nicely. I will be out at my evening class this evening though Karma, so limited opportunity for spoiling... just a nice dinner (at least I've already done my homework :) )

    Afternoon all,

    I did spoil myself, after all, yesterday, Karma - I had the heating on as much as I wanted! :D Also had a lovely dinner and good evening class. Work has gone well today and Dad called round for a cuppa before he heads off on holiday. I'm off to the v e t s soon with the boys for their annual check-up and boosters - I'm so not looking forward to getting them into the carriers on my own. (I have failed in the past!)

    MS things:
    * Just claimed £10 *$ credit from Bing rewards - didn't fancy a pizza voucher as they seem to be a bit shaky at the moment.
    * Clicks done (150SB survey - on a roll at the moment)
    * Rm survey item posted
    * PA surveys
    * TV survey done

    Gratitudes:
    * Some great publicity for my blog (sorry, I will stop going on about it!)
    * Warm sunshine :)
    * Plans coming together

    Have a great afternoon everyone!

    I loved the way you typed out "v e t s" with spaces, like the boys could hear you typing it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    And PS, why should you stop going on about the blog? It's a really mse blog, and a lot of people enjoy those kinds of visits :)

    Morning all,

    Thanks Karma (I mentally spell out 'vets', so it seemed sensible to write it like that!) and SL!

    Vets visit went remarkably well and no gauntlets were needed! I took treats and the angry kitty is also the food oriented one, so I just distracted him with food for the examination. I'll remember that for next time.

    We had takeaway last night :( (but there is some left for dinner tonight). I discovered an issue on the blog with links, so DH and I spent much of the evening sorting out that and other things (like signing up to Twitter! :eek: ). I have been given a very warm welcome from the only other NT blogger and her following - no pressure then!! :) It is exciting :D

    In other news, actual paid work is going well, although struggling to focus somewhat!

    MS things:
    * Clicks done
    * Have ordered written prescription for flea tablets for awkward kitty

    Gratitudes:
    * DH, for all his help with my blog - both technical and linguistic (something I really shouldn't need help with!)
    * The possibilities...
    * Well-behaved cats at the vets (and nice chats in the waiting room with other cat people)

    Have a good day all!

    Loving the direction you're going. And everyone needs help with the linguistic stuff, even English graduates (like me!). I had a very kind offer from an mse member to proof-read my kindle book, and though I knew I was still confused at the time about its and it's :o:o:o the number of other mistakes he found was mindboggling.

    Enjoy your takeaway leftovers :)

    Morning all, just waiting endlessly for the train I’m getting to meet my mum on... came to the station with DH so I didn’t have to get the bus (work will pay for his parking). Have royally messed up my ticket for today - thought I was saving money but bought a single by mistake! Saved my Starbucks credit though as they were only serving in takeaway cups because their dishwasher was broken - no thank you!

    Karma - it wasn’t the grammar that was the issue, just making myself sound normal and human!! :eek:

    Going to the language show today at Olympia (free) and then will meet DH for dinner at the NT pub...

    Have a good day all!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: awwww! Definitely a human voice! Sorry to hear about the single rail ticket, but have a great time today, with your mum, at the show, with DH :)

    Hi Vix, I agree with karma - you are not about ‘going on’ about the blog as it’s interesting and mse. I’ve never thought of getting membership as there seem to be so few places to visit near me (especially with the competition of lots of free stuff in London) so ideas are good, specially now the kids are older and we can travel more :)
