AA Internet Access ISA (Issue 3) - 3.5%

I just rang them about this, because I was anxious to know whether the Internet Access ISA had been withdrawn. I was told that, in fact, this "renaming" relates to the application process, which they have changed now that we are so close to the end of this financial year. Something about the AA needing to clarify what year people wanted to subscribe for (2011/12 or 2012/13).FWIW the AA seem to have messed up their website. Clicking on their 'Internet Access ISA (Issue 3)' links takes you to a page about the 'Postal Access ISA (Issue 3)'.
It was confirmed that this is a cosmetic change only, and that I will still have 14 days from the date this product is withdrawn to fund the account. I was also told that it was "unlikely" the product would be withdrawn before tomorrow, so I think I can safely assume this account will be useable for 2012/13 subscriptions (14 days from 23 March is 6 April. 6 April is in 2012/13).
Edit: I was also told the account would still be capable of online operation once it has been opened.0 -
TBH renaming it because of the application procedure sounds utterly bizarre to me! As for it being withdrawn, I was told that I would be able to fund it this year (which I have done), then add more funds from next years allowance after 6 April. The account does show up for me online.I just rang them about this, because I was anxious to know whether the Internet Access ISA had been withdrawn. My account (opened whilst it was still an Internet Access ISA) has appeared and I have a letter confirming it's been opened. Just need to send off a cheque on the 5th of April now.

3.2% and 3.5% instant access, lovely jubbly!0 -
Hi All,
I spoke to the AA yesterday about this account. The rep that I spoke to hinted that they should be some "new" online ISA's that are launched from after the 5th or 6th of April. She didn't know what the rates may be but this could be worth holding out for.
Cheers.

The current AA 3.5% offer is a postal account. I think it was originally an internet account, but then they changed it (see post 29)0
