    Morning all

Could I please ask a favour, If you can spare 5 minutes could you fill in my survey for the open university course I'm doing. Its about recycling when you are out and about.
Basically I am going to design a bin for public spaces that will encourage more people to recycle.

    Thank you :A:A:A

Am I being stupid? Where is the survey?

    Hugs PM whats up?

    Hi FT how are you?

Basically I had to cut my hen do short to deal with the probs with the wedding venue. I knew something was very wrong when we got in there today. The guy we were supposed to seeing didn't meat us, i asked where he was and was toild he was coming. We finally met him so I asked where the manager was and was told he left.

Cut a long story short he did nothing beyond take my money:mad::mad::mad: it turned out he hadn't even booked for our wedding to take place in 13 days time, they thought we were getting married somewhere else. Iv'e ben trying to sort things out for ages with them and finally got to met them today, he said they have been trying to force the manger out for months and finally managed to a week ago.I couldnt hold back the tears as i knew then they we were in deep s*it and we had to start again with 13 days to go.

I feel so angry and cheated:mad::mad::mad: hes not the person i thought and did nothing, they knew months ago that the manager did nothing. The wedding before us is touch and go.If they hadn't have got rid of the manager we wouldn't have had a wedding at all and now i have so much to do.

Due to the manager not doing anything we've lost 4 hrs of setting up time time as the rooms have been booked out that we need to set up in so we have to set up in the lobby.

    Sorry for the rant.

    Ranting allowed no apologies!
Am I to take it from this that means you do have the venue though.Thats a positive! Is it the reception or the wedding or both
I know it seems bad now but I work in events and trust me nothing is impossible! We deal with this sort of thing all the time and I have seen us set up an event that is supposed to take 6 hours in 30min because a hotel has messed up so its much more common than you think.

A little bit of planning is key.Remember many hands make light work.Ask your guests to help by picking up a tray of food on the way in sort of thing. If you want let PM me let me know what it is you are trying to achieve,I may have a few ideas on how to make it happen ;)

    hi hun

The whole thing was ment to be at the hotel that they didnt even know was happening. Most of my guests are really far away and iv'e got next to no family. I'm so angry this has happened. They haven't been returning my calls or emails at all and now I find out the manager has gone. They have got a new guy in now that has only been there a week and is very unconfident and shy :(

I'm a 2-3 hr round trip from the venue so having much less time isn't good to set up in. I should still be on my hen do.

    xx
