PM, the hen do doesn't really matter apart from the money you paid.
As we have said all along, the main part is you actually marrying your husband. After that it is about being happy together. Yes having a really livrly day is important but you need to concentrate on the vows. The last wedding I went to probably cost them a lot but was very low budget looking. But you know what? The bride and groom and the guests had a whale of a time and that is what matters. At the end of it, they said when is the next party? They didn't remember the negative bits and I doubt the guests did.
Take FT's advice, she is experienced and knows what she is doing0 -
Actually I came onto ask about apg. How long are they supposed to be valid from date of purchase? Went shopping today and forgot to check apg expiry date and they were all voided for being out of date. Even though one was from shopping last sunday.0

I'm home now and just checked! 28 days, the guy didn't know what he was doing with the receipts, and he looked at the date I bought the stuff, not the right expiry date. I looked at it and it said 13/09/2012 but because it was so hot and I was fed up by now, I just said my own fault should have shopped earlier. Not realising it is not sept yet!
I forgot the toilet roll, so reprinting and going back to local small asda and will use there instead.0 -

The whole thing was ment to be at the hotel that they didnt even know was happening. Most of my guests are really far away and iv'e got next to no family. I'm so angry this has happened. They haven't been returning my calls or emails at all and now I find out the manager has gone. They have got a new guy in now that has only been there a week and is very unconfident and shy
I'm a 2-3 hr round trip from the venue so having much less time isn't good to set up in. I should still be on my hen do.
xx
sorry about the situation but surely when you went & looked at the venue originally the manager wrote things in their booking diary & did you not meet with the functions staff to talk about what food you required & prices etc?0 -

I thought everything was ok, I paid the deposit. Iv;e had probs with them not returning my calls and emails and have been trying to sort out out for ages now. What was the wedding co-oridnator was saying today was the first day he could met and the manager was forced to leave a week ago.
It turns out nothing had been sorted out beyond booking the room for the receptionWe had also been down there to try and sort things out but nothing changed. We were told food had to be sorted out by a certian date, that date never got met so have been trying to sort out things ever since.
