This is my logic re the APG...can someone tell me if I have this wrong ...
There is a post on another thread (11+) that show yoghurts bought at Asda total is £7.48...bought a T's £3.62....so buy at Asda and get £3.86 back plus 10% = £4.24.........but if I bought them at T's in the first place I would get them for £3.62 , but getting them at Asda gives me 38p profit? ...but the points I would get at T's would be 3.5( approx 'cos I know you do not get half points...but multiplied by 3 is approx 10p, making the profit 28p .... as I use T's clubcard/credit card, they send me a lot of mocs for money off products I actually buy and lots of extra points coupons for stuff I buy, also they sent me a coupon for 650 points as a thank you bonus,( would have had to have spent £650 to have got that), but is worth £19.50 towards my holiday... and have received 2 double point coupons with my statement and a mailer with 2 more double points as well...it has not taken me very long to reach the £200 needed for £600 off a holiday...I do realise that womble receipts are freebies, but that is only for those prepared to do it...admit I did pick one up once, recently dropped and very clean....but it's not for me as I really do not like shopping at Asda at all.....but I do go there for dry goods that are on promotion sometimes when the price is excellent and worth the trip.....horses for courses !

AH - sorry to hear your afternoon tea was not as luxurious as you had hoped.

I haven't gone back to yoga yet, it finishes next week for the summer, so it will have to be September when I go back, which I will. I really do miss it, but there has just been so much to do for mum recently, I really needed that couple of hours as well to get through stuff.

Can't believe, last night, I slept for 11.5 hours :eek: I know I was tired, but didn't realise quite how tired I was. Only thing is today, I have had a headache all day. Now I know why I never sleep in these days!

Can I ask about APG and JTG...if you get the difference back from T's then why not get them from other supermakrets in the first place and if you get do the APG, why not go to the other supemarkets in the first place.?....I ask this because I only want to get products I really would eat or need and it appears you seem to have to buy a lot of goods just because they give you the difference and not because you really would have bought them in the first place.....it's totally lost on me and have not done it ....I did use DTD to my advantage but cannot see any merits in these now for me.
Trying to keep up with peeps posts but am researching holiday destinations once again and it is taking ages, everytime I find one destination/hotel I like, hubby then researches deeper and finds a neagtive.....desperate for a 5* positive at the moment....almost there with a 'definite maybe' from him for the Algarve ( Vilamoura, have been before) for Xmas/New Year.
i'm a bit like you Bully ,i dont have a Mr T or a Mr A near me (40 mile round trip ) but i do shop at either given the chance but only really buy what products i need or can use if a at good price .Occassionally i did a split shop to gain from the tpg & wombled the very seldom receipt but now with the new terms of the pg i shall only buy things when i can gain by using cs & other moc like the price flops & mailings etc.i do have a S & a M fairly near & have got an odd bm back but only on a very time comsuming planned shop twice i've gone to do a planned shop & they haven't got certain items in stock so have ended up abandening that list & had to get alternatives which has been a real pain .i've womble a few bm coupons &i get given cs coupons from an uncle who probably never spends more than £5 a time in S .he'd have a fit if he knew how much i spend a week on food /toiletries /pet food etc for 5 adults 2 dogs & a cat and thats with spending as much time as i can planning list etc& using moc .to get so many cc to you seek out products with extra points?
