You making me feel so envious of being able to go and pick your own strawberries when you want them:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: love strawberries especially dipped in melted hot chocolate mmmmm:rotfl:, been rather disappointed in supermarket bought ones this year :( going off really quick even from S's bought some and the next day some were mouldy in pack:eek:

Totally agree with you....:):):):):) Jefery's allotment posts make me really tempting.....

Last year we had been to pick your own farms and the strawberries I picked there were sooooooooooooo sweet and yummy that I think first ever tasted SWEET strawberries like that. I hate eating supermarket ones as they are always sour....:o:o:o:o:o:o:o

    Morning all......:)

Can I ask about APG and JTG...if you get the difference back from T's then why not get them from other supermakrets in the first place and if you get do the APG, why not go to the other supemarkets in the first place.?....I ask this because I only want to get products I really would eat or need and it appears you seem to have to buy a lot of goods just because they give you the difference and not because you really would have bought them in the first place.....it's totally lost on me and have not done it ....I did use DTD to my advantage but cannot see any merits in these now for me.
Trying to keep up with peeps posts but am researching holiday destinations once again and it is taking ages, everytime I find one destination/hotel I like, hubby then researches deeper and finds a neagtive.....desperate for a 5* positive at the moment....almost there with a 'definite maybe' from him for the Algarve ( Vilamoura, have been before) for Xmas/New Year.

    Hiya Bully,

The benefits of doing any price check is,

    1) when you don't have that particular store near you, you get the cheapest price from the store near you (as long as you meet ALL t&C of price check:o

    2) And when you have CS coupon to use. eg. When you have £5 off £40 A's coupon (during promotion) by doing price check you get cheapest price plus the CS discount. Also the price check voucher can be reused to make more...............................;);););)

    hope that makes sense...

Thanks IS, but do you only ever buy the products you usually buy?
I always use my clubcard, but it seems as though people have not been using theirs to stay 'off the radar'....but my points are now giving me £600 off the holiday I am about to book, have compared all the tour operator prices and the prices are very favourable, so it is indeed a £600 saving...looked at the list Doc posted and there was not one single item I would have bought.

I got a new family in my household today. She is 1 year old, her name is Poppy - she is a Shih Tzu. She like to be the leader & does not get along with her siblings that is why her owner who is one of my colleague gave her to me.

Now I am looking for free pedigree food any suggestion pls. Time to go shopping now.
RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)
