Sounds yummy
I use the same recipe for big cake and cupcakes.Tend to find its best to just throw it all in a bowl and mix quickly.Never fails

as FT i use same mix for large and small cakes, just adding different flavouring as needed.


what ideas do you have in mind for decoration, personnal baking cakes the easy part. decoration takes more time and thought

Thanks for the tips and sites I am ok on making sponges Victoria sponges never last long in this house so they can't be too bad lol

Am hoping to make a simple vic sponge then Plain white icing with bright stars and baby's name on top but only going to make a smaller version today just to practice the roll on icing and deco. Just want it to be something special and personalised as its 1st birthday.

No time yet today tho so hopefully pop it in oven with or afte tea

We had a meal in a place called the Cheescake factory in Boston food was excellant, after our meal DS3 ordered a Chocolate fudge slice:eek::eek::eek: it was massive about 6in high & 3in width at edge served in like a big pasta bowl topped with cream I love their take out boxes in USA:D:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: his eyes were definately bigger than his belly he was determind he was going to order it. So he ate it for breakfast in morning :rotfl:
