thanks FT. I will leave to IT guys at work to sort out, they need to be doing something! I have an exam tomorrow, so they can fix it while I am in there.

It works fine on everyone else's pc, just mine. It locks and I have trouble getting it to delete. cannot even end process!

Well if its the works one let them solve away!

You saying about IE reminded me of somethng jax.I had an issue similar a while ago and it was due to an add on for firefox that allows me to view tabs as if they are in internet explorer.Could that be what their on about?
In firefox only go to tools and add ons then look for internet explorer tabs or something similar. Then click the disable button beside it.Simples.

silly question when did this problem start? If its a really new thing have you tried a system restore point? Other thought if IE is the issue you can always uninstall it the use oldversion.com to get an older version prior to the update.Might be simpler for you than trying to roll back the version.

    Morning all.

Still yucky yucky here.At least that makes me wanna stay indoors. It felt quite cosy in my little flat yesterday but it was middle of winter cosy ont bloomin june cosy!

Wish me luck, need to contact my tutor for an extension on my assignment.I'm annoyed and feel generally sucky about this, its one of my rules for myself as i think its far too easy to get into trouble that way.Its due at the end of next week but I'm away for work again as of sunday and despite my best efforts I have just not been getting through as much of it as i wanted the last few days.
I just feel like i jump week of work week of study solid.nothing inbetween(I work in events so when im working its long hours).Generally just fed up and really need a break but no let up for a while :(

Sorry guys just felt the need for a moan :(.Guess i should drink some coffee and get to it!

Hugs FT, know how you feel. I cannot have a proper break until end of August and life is very intensive until then!

Found out DS' school in September are only doing half day for 3 weeks! that means I have to figure out what to do with him for the rest of the day! not all of us are able to stay at home or work from home. I understand they are doing it to get them used to the idea of school and especially those who never went to nursery, but I am now stuck. Wonder if the nursery will take him for those 3 weeks in the afternoon, as he will not yet be 5. Or if it will be too confusing for him!

PS good luck with getting extension, most tutors are good if it is a reasonable reason.
