I asked for help on techie board, so have been following all sorts of instuctions...no good, i'm hopeless with comps.

figment on the techie board posted today that The add-on in Internet Explorer is causing this issue. I tried to follow instructions for this... it's so complicated when even the techie language is an issue for me. lol
Giving up now for tonight as has p1ssed me off most of the day. Will give it another shot tmoro.

    Thanks

Do you use something like GoToMyPC or some other method ?

Only I'm interested in accessing a PC at home for a couple of hours about 5 times whilst I'm in Sri Lanka in September.

jax, try clearing your internet history. That is one of the suggestions.

On Internet Explorer, if this what you use, goto internet options

on the second box on the first page, delete browsing history

    click on delete.

another box will pop up, click on temporary internet files and ok, this will delete these.

it thinks this may be preventing the pdf from opening but i don't think it is. To be honest, didn't think much of the advice on there.

Thanks for that, I shall have to have a play.

What I actually want to do is listen to the radio :D ...

specifically Radio Derby for the commentary when The Rams are playing - only I'll be missing 5 matches - 2 at home which I would normally attend and 3 away which I'd listen to

One of the away games is against our biggest rivals - N*ttm F*r*st  - which I just don't want to miss if I can help it. :(

I use logmein for accessing my pc https://secure.logmein.com/uk/ and my tecchie pal uses it to access mine as well. I have all my computers connected to it and if I'm being lazy I log into my other pc via it (which I use for printing via) to print any new coupons. I leave one computer and my laser printer on whilst on holiday so I can print any new coupons which have a limited availability. It is also ideal for going to sites via which don't allow going to from abroad.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Here's the commentary in case you miss it, ;)

"what a great goal by Nottingham Forest, rubbish defending by Derby, another goal for Nottingham Forest, penalty Forest, GOAL, another GOAL to Forest, GOAL to Derby, oh no' it's ruled it didn't cross the line, GOAL to derby ruled offside, GOAL to Nottingham Forest, final score NOTTINGHAM FOREST 10 DERBY 0":eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
