@ Genmod... you are welcome just don't you go hiding again!!!

Thanks Doc, will try not too!

It's been raining here all day, the man laying my patio gave up about an hour ago and went home. The electrician also came earlier to install lights in the patio but he just sat in his car for ages and then went home! Isn't it ironic that ever since they announced the hosepipe ban, it hasn't stopped raining!:rotfl:

Procells are le-git they are just the professional grade version.Use them all the time at work and home. They actually last longer than regularduracells. Not as mad a discount as it sounds either because with trade discount i can usually pick them up for £2.30 a box!
Well worth picking up,annoyingly we just bought 100 at £2 odd a box

Luckily not damp(unless you count the water peeing through the ceiling from our neighbour:rotfl:),although my mum has had ridiculous problems with that since she got her place 18 years ago.And it was a new build!!
The HA in charge of our block keeps trying to charge us for things that they have had done even though we only just paid for a renovation and things like £100 bills for 3 months comunal electric(in the stair) and other such things.WE seem to be on the phone to them once a month at the moment trying to work out what the hell they are doing.I'm just thankful their not responsible for anything inside the flat i don't know how i would cope if I had to rely on them if our boiler broke down or that.

or you can try co-op or marky & sparky or post office currency. Or better still get Caxtonfx cash card - you can top up the dosh either £££ or Euro or US currency.

I have Caxton fx card & I don't carry lots of cash with me when I travel.

    http://www.caxtonfx.com/currency-cards/

Thanks for link Doc people keep mentioning these pre-paid cards but not very sure how they work tried to look at thread on MSE yesterday but some of the links didn't tell you what the rates were although said competative didn't actually state
so cldn't compare. They mention the FairFX one as top rate wise but you pay $2 withdrawl fee where as your one free outside UK. How easy do you find these to use load etc.

Looks like Thomas Exchange Global all London branches but rates great for dollar okay if can get there.

    TEG $1.6050
    P/O $1.5710
    M&S $1.5691

Maybe interested in card option also Doc as no safe in room

We also have the Halifax Clarity card so any excess spending we haven't budgeted ie impulse buying can go on that as the best credit card to use abroad just as long as make sure clear balance when we get home lol
